Soul Food #2 [Choice]
Choice, the single most important thing needed to maintain ones sanity. There is a power struggle going on in today's society that is spiraling out of control. The Government is slowly taking away ones choice to do many things. The rights to receive information process it and make ones own decision of events. They lied to us about the reasons for going to war, covered up dirt with more dirt and then covered that dirt with even more dirt. If you have my reading my scribes then you already know my stance on these issues, but it's not only the government that is taking part in this deception it is our girlfriends, boyfriends, best friends and associates as well.
People lie to each other, a man might tell his woman that he spent the night out with the guys when in actuality he was out at the strip club and decided to pay a couple hundred of dollars to take his experience from the champagne room to the hotel room. A woman may tell her man, that she was out shopping when she was really being taken on a shopping spree in exchange for giving up her goods from the dirty jersey sanchez to the Scotland Super Slurp in the sleaziest motel room money can buy. All this deception takes away the choice of a person to make their own decision to handle the situation as they see fit. I say that b/c cheating is not always a reason to break up with a person, some things can be worked out with honest communication and a lot of effort.
This week while getting a ride home from a co-worker I dropped a pack of Newport in my coworkers car, and today I asked if she saved them, she explains to me that she threw them in the trash. Mind you I expected that, b/c she is not happy that I smoke, well hell neither am I, but it is my choice to do so and no one other than myself has the right to make me stop, or do with my product w/o consulting with me first. It made my mind wonder is America forcing ideologies on people. Well yes, that's no secret but why do we do this? Why do we force stuff on people and make up their minds for them? I urge people not to believe me, and to find out for themselves. My thoughts in your head are just as bad as someone telling me Bush is the best president in America History. Please people make up your own mind and never let anyone take your choice away from you. I am Pro Life, but I firmly believe in Pro Choice, b/c what you do with your life and your body is on you. Choose.

this is an excellent blog!!!!! no one has the right to take our choices away....in life we all have choices and when someone takes that away its like taking away apart of yourself....you lose that chance to see how life would play out with your choice...but if u don't have it it makes you wonder what if??

choice is very important to me. that's what america is built on (or supposed to be built on)
i mean we can choose if we want to wear baggy jeans, goth clothes, emo clothes, etc.
we can choose if we want chinese, greek, or african food for dinner.
but sometimes if we get into trouble, those choices are taken away from us.
oh and xilla u shude take $1 in change from ur coworkers ashtray until u hav enought to buy another pack of cigs haha!
