It seems like more women are crying over their man’s facebook status or comment. In today’s world, a flirtatious twitter message or comment can lead a woman to snap like Sara from Da Band. A new study even suggest that you may be caught in the facebook feedback loop. Don’t worry it’s not new at all, the only difference is now you can see the things your boo says.

“If your boyfriend is calling or texting another girl, you can’t really see it. But on Facebook, you can see it and so can everyone else, so in a way, you do get jealous because he might be hanging his dirty laundry, and not only are you seeing it, but other people are, too.”

Colin Booth of West Virginia University said he is not the jealous type, but finds it a strange, modern phenomenon to watch your girlfriend develop other relationships in real time on Facebook.

“It’s been happening forever. You’re with a girl, she meets a guy, they’re friends at first,” Booth said. “But it’s the way you see it and what you see. And then you think: What’s going on under the surface if this is what’s going on in public?”

It’s this public disrespect that can lead someone into going crazy and spending the night on the bed crying their eyes out. A lot of time for us men, we really don’t care, sometimes it’s just a matter of our pride getting in the way and taking control of our emotions. This can lead us to asking too many questions and calling our women saying stupid stuff to our women like “Whose d*ck you sucking?”

Now certainly for us average normal sexual intellectuals out there we are not going to go to this extreme but we have to take our time before we jump to conclusions. We are in a new world, one our elders can’t give us any advice on. We are learning by ear. So take the time to listen, talk and love one another. Don’t be afraid to answer a few extra questions from the person we are involved with because a quick bit of explaining can save a relationship. All too often we feel like we don’t have to answer to anyone, but we do. At least we do if we really want to find true love.

“It seems like Facebook is creating jealousy even where there was not jealousy to begin with,” said Amy Muise, a doctoral candidate at the University of Guelph’s psychology department who led a recent study on how Facebook can spark jealousy in romantic relationships among college students.

She said Facebook doesn’t necessarily make people more jealous than they would be normally. But all the information divulged on Facebook — those answers to “What’s on your mind?” and reactions to those posts — can increase “triggers” for jealousy.

The study was based on anonymous online survey data from 308 undergraduate Facebook users, three quarters of them women. The study, published in CyberPsychology & Behavior, found Facebook users can get snagged in a “feedback loop”: Their interest piqued by a cryptic wall comment, they become suspicious and start monitoring their partner’s pages, thus finding even more suspicious information.

Why do Men choose a Lie over Truth when both get you the same result??

After his very sound advice to the ladies he posed a question, which I answered under the cut: “Is Cheating Mental or the Physical Act?? Or Both??”

I think cheating is both mental and physical and not everyone catches or realizes that. It’s mental because it breaks down your lover, their ability to trust is broken down or all together lost. It ruins people and turns them into a cheater. They begin to think I better cheat before I get cheated on or worst. The opposite sex ain’t sh!t. Also depending on who you cheat with it could be even more mental. Case in point a reply to Tyrese’s twitter

Yeah most women do cheat!! The difference is women usually are cheating with their mans friend so they never get caught.

In this case it’s 100% mental. A complete mind f*ck, because your trust is attacked from both sides, from a friend and a lover. It’s also mental because cheating doesn’t have to be physical, it could be as little as flirting, a pat on the ass or a kiss. A wink that really means “if I would have meet you first you could be the one enjoying the manxilla all night long instead of your homegirl, if we break up call me.”

Cheating is physical because of the obvious reasons. It could be 100% physical and be done only because of the attraction you have towards a person. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s done because you want to do it, and know or think you can get away with it, and in most cases… We do get away with it.

I got a tweet from a woman asking, what can a woman do to keep a long distance relationship fresh. Then I started thinking of all the things I would like done in my relationship. I thought that these things can be whether the lovers are far away or near each other as well. So I decided to give the ladies a little advice on how to keep their man from cheating. Now while doing these things can’t guarantee that your man won’t cheat, it will make him out to be a complete idiot to cheat on a woman who would do all these things for him.

Learn About Sports: Sure a fat booty, big boobs and a nice stomach is sexy, but so is a woman who knows about sports. I think it’s safe to say that women are smarter than men, and in the internet age women have a very useful tool… The internet. Do a little research on a man’s favorite sport. Find out how the game works, research some stats, and random facts about his favorite team. This way you can engage in conversation and follow the games along with him. Not only will this give you another topic to talk about it will also help bring you both closer together.

Your boyfriend is very insecure. This can be for one of a few reasons. More than likely he is cheating, and it’s something called projection. Where people put their dirt on you. IE Bill O’Rielly. Another reason can be simply because he’s insecure and honestly I don’t feel like anyone should be with an insecure person. It leads to too much drama.

I think twitter, myspace, facebook are bad for relationships. It makes it too easy to bring up drama. Take Twitter for instance, it makes it almost impossible to lie. lol Not that you should have to lie, but sometimes it’s called for, but if you slip up and send out a tweet, then all hell breaks loose. “I thought you were with Suzie? Well she was washing clothes at 2:15pm see her twitter update.” All of these social networks are essential tools for stalkers and insecure people.

At the same time you should have nipped dude in the bud as soon as he came at you like that. You have a boyfriend, and if he lets you get away with small flirting, you’ll flirt even more and maybe even cheat. He should have spoke with you and communicated his feelings in a more mature way. Not simply stopped talking to you and speak to someone else about it.
