I’ve tried to get into Electrik Reds’ music. They are mediocre at best, nothing special vocally, just seems like a buncha pretty chicks. *yawn*

I’m liking the direction Eminem is taking his songs, although they are relatively dark, they are honest, and smart, classic Eminem.

This Lupe song may be a bit harder then you are used to from Lupe, I don’t know how I feel about it yet, maybe it’s a song I need to be in the mood to listen to.

Catching a great comedian perform is one of the best ideas for a date ever and this weekend TI & Grand Hustle provided a great show for the city of Atlanta. Duval, Michael Blackson and more had the crowd rolling on the floor laughing out loud with jokes at the Grand Hustle Comedy Show at 14th Street Playhouse. The weekend didn’t stop there Grand Hustle Family keep the good times rolling.

The weekend continued over at Cascade where Yung La, Dro & Tip performed my new favorite song Ain’t I on skates.

Later that night the Grand Hustle Family (T.I., Big Kuntry, Young Dro, Alfamega, Yung LA, B.O.B. Jr, Duval & More) held the craziest event ever. A black tie affair complete with model in Victorian garb, an open bar and enough power players to make the NHL mad. T-Boz, Tocorra, Kevin Lyles, DJ Drama , Kenny Burns and the entire Grand Hustle family partied hard. It was my birthday so I enjoyed myself as they bumped music off TI’s “Paper Trail” which hit stores 9/30. I asked this woman to take a shot with me for my birthday and told her she looked like Nicole Raye and her friend said to me “That is Nicole Raye!” I must say she is looking amazing these days I can’t wait for her next project. I know this is TI’s song but this picture just seems to fit so much better. Umm Grand Hustle… Why is TI’s album leaking more than the Levees in New Orleans? Also, for the record I don’t mind Probation TI. I think he is showing growth you aint gotta rap about dope dealing and killing your whole life. There hasn’t been anything this big since the I get money remix. Kayne West, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and TI all on the same track. I love it rappers work together. Although I think someone on this track took a jab at another rapper on this track… I still love it. Sharper than a swagger dagger all metal ~ Lil Wayne but that still doesn’t top my new slogan – How does it feel to wake up and be the sh!t & the Urine.

This week I had the chance to stop by TI’s video shoot for Louie Rag and in between sets I had the chance to meet dude. I saw his inner struggle and looked in his eyes and saw his love for God, his kids and his life. If you don’t know I’m going through a lot right now even though it might not seem like it and well if TI can go through what he’s been through and still be the king, I can too. TI Stopped by Cincinnati’s #1 Night show host Don Juan Fasho of 101.1 The WIZ-FM to talk about all the things he always talks about his album, his artists, his movies, his clothing line….and all of the other things he got going on professionally. When you hear him being interviewed, what do you hear him talking about? ME- THAT’S IT!!! I’m all he got to talk about. So, I mean, if you was him… if you put yourself in his position and you saw that the only time people wanted to speak to you was when you was talking about TI what would you do? You would continue talking about TI. But you know what though, dog, you know I ain’t even mad at him you know what I’m saying. At this point I look at it.. it’s a marketing tool. You know what I’m saying. I see that’s the decision he made, you know, he think that that’s gonna get him to where he wanna be in life. So, what I’m looking in to, since I’m the reason for all of his income this year….. since all the shows he’s getting is based off of me and my name… I’m gonna see if I can claim him as a dependent on my taxes. I’m gonna try and write him off on my taxes. And, you know, then I think we’ll be even!”

Word of advice, Shawty go into the booth and record a diss record, this is still Hip Hop and I don’t feel like posting another you tube video, even though I was in the last video.

Civil Rights pioneer Andrew Young has done a lot for the advancement of colored people. He helped encourage blacks to votes and was one of Martin Luther King’s closest allies. But lately he’s been making a fool out of himself with some of his comments. In Dec, 2007 he said “Bill is every bit as black as Barack. He’s probably gone with more black women than Barack,” Today it appears how wrong he was about our next president of the US of A. But apparently TI is his example of a real black person.

In speaking about T.I., Young proclaimed “He’s bright enough, sensitive enough, vulnerable enough and intellectual enough that he might be able to help the society deal with the problem of violence.” Source

A black man who gets caught with 10 machine guns can help solve the violence problem, but one of the most inspirational leaders of our time isn’t fit to be president… Niggatry!! I’m pulling Young’s Negro card.
