Rock City Is On Fire • 09.08.08
I had the pleasure of being invited to a listening session with Akon’s group Rock City last Friday and I must say them boys got some heat. Unlike other listening sessions I’ve been invited too this one actually kept my ears paying attention, my neck bobbing and my feet doing the illest chair dance since the last round of that battle Bill Cosby had with the “Sandman” on The Cosby show. They have a few joints I’m patiently waiting for “Cloud 9″ & “Rebel” to name a few. I’m just hoping the label doesn’t try to make them into another bad creation.
