The reviews are mixed from Rihanna’s interview. Personally I felt like she said things that would rip the heart out of a man in love, but my opinion isn’t important now. Mainstream America loved her interview. They felt as if it was a defining moment of power for women going through and who have been through abuse. I would agree. Yet I also agree w/ Urban America who feels like she might not have been telling the whole truth. EW reports.

Speaking to Diane Sawyer, Rihanna said of Brown’s remorse afterward, “He’d say, ‘You hate me, don’t you?’ and I would lie and say, ‘No.’”

That was a chilling moment, one among many. Sawyer showed Rihanna online videos of people — fans? — saying that she must have provoked Brown. Sawyer paraphrased their sentiments: “They say, ‘Did she bait him? Rile him?’”

I remember when Michael Jackson died, I saw something about him insisting that the national inquirer report that he was BIZAAR they were told to use that word… Funny that w/ all the devil stuff surrounding Rihanna these days that she would do her first video in a church. Hmmm. Anyway I love the video its dope and this is a beat I can see a lot of rappers spitting a quick 16 on.

After over 8 months of silence Rihanna is speaking to almost everyone and telling her side of the story. There is no need to wait until Friday, to hear her side of the story, because in a recent interview w/ Glamour magazine Rihanna is telling it all.

Rihanna: “But at some point you are there alone. It’s a lonely place to be—no one can understand. That’s when you get close to God.”

Are you referring to the [Chris Brown] incident?

Rihanna: I am talking about starting with the night [before] the Grammys and then on. That was not the only thing that occurred this year. The picture leaking…it was one thing after another.

Rihanna is back and yes it’s safe to say that the wait is indeed ova! Rihanna is back w/ an amazing joint produced by Neyo called “Russian Roulette” off her album “Rated R” hmm I wonder if her whole album will have a R theme to it… who knows, but this joint goes hard. A mid tempo banger, and it sounds like there is a lot of feeling behind her words. Rihanna has stepped her vocal skills up lately. I saw her live at the garden and she sounded amazing.

While I was sitting at my desk in Globalgrind my little brother from another mother Ant Reynolds played a track from Wale and a flag went off that this guy is dope. Fast forward to today when I saw this joint on 2 Dope Boyz who simply said “Wow this is f*cking dope!” I agree. Wale is fire! He has quickly became one of my favorite new emcees.
