If you watched this 1:02 video above you might be sitting there scratching your head, and you might also realize why out of Irv Gotti’s enitre sit down with MTV that  particular 1:02 was ripped and posted on Nahright. I have to 100% disagree with Irv Gotti. Maybe this is why Murder Inc failed… Ignorance !!! You like Nas better when he’s ignorant? Really? Do you HATE it when you see a kid reading a book too? Does it bother you that schools still exist?? It’s this very thinking that will keep people down and lead to hip hop not progressing. Nas is known to be one of the most lyrical rappers, his rhymes are soaked in substance in most cases, and those are his best raps in my opinion. I dont doubt he goes over people’s heads but Gotti says “When he’s on his arrogant sh*t, When Nas dumbs himself down he’s nicer to me ….When he’s on some n*gga sh*t he’s nicer” That’s a shame, I hope people don’t agree that Nas has to be ignorant to be great.

I’ve been hearing a lot about this song, “What If” off Jadakiss new album The Last Kiss feat Nas. Now that it has been leaked to the internets I’m feeling like this Kiss album might be classic. It drops next week and I can honestly say I’m going to drop my 10 bucks for the album download on Itunes. I suggest we start supporting stuff. New York we need this.

Last night Nas held a free concert @ Webster Hall so I sent my NY correspondent John J out to cover the event. By the time he gets there it’s packed, the line is down the block and there was no contact person in site… Long story short the cops (2 White cops & 1 Black cop) start trying to break the crowd up telling John J that the event was close and they weren’t letting any more people in the venue. So he starts to slowly walk away when one of the white cops puts his hand on his back and pushes him along, telling him to hurry up.

John J – “Why you gotta touch me?”
White Cop – “Maybe there is something wrong with your legs” (Ice grills John J)
John J - “Why you looking at me like you want to hit me? Am I supposed to be scared? Cuz I’m not”
White Cop – “No I don’t think you’re scared I think you’re retarded!!”
John J - “You make 15 dollars an hour and I’M RETARDED? GTFOH”

David Banner, the man who cursed up a storm on the Negro Channel, he should be press secretary right? Going out in front of TV camera’s and spinning the gossip that comes out of the white house about the first Nigga’s. Would he hulk up and beat down the reporters who didn’t believe him, or when he got passionate about something? Don’t get me wrong David Banner has some great ideas but I would more like to see him in a MMA cage fighting Bumpy Knuckles, while both versions of How to Rob play in the background, rather than him being considered a leader in the fight against the destruction of black people.

In the words of that old hood nigga spiritual “Nigger, PLEASE!!” I could see if you said Kevin Powell, or even Jay-Z but a man who curses on BET and another who calls himself the snowman!!
