My boy @MrMecc sent me this video. I don’t know if he was trying to be funny because he has a nice thick white woman on his lap… I kid I kid. I don’t wanna offend any of my beautiful black women. Check the tags this is a Black Relationship Blog! I love my sister’s don’t forget that. But, if there are beautiful women in a video and a dope track I’m all for it. Beside this guy is everywhere. I love Fabolous’ flow on the “Imma Do It” track, hard beat, hard flow, clever lines, catchy melody on the hook (he ever threw in a little Drake reference). This is the Fabolous I’ve been missing, not just the 16 bars on an R&B track. It’s about time Fab! Instead of featuring on an R&B track Fab has Ne-Yo feature on his “Makin Love” track…. My, my, Fab just got me excited for his “Loso’s Way” album dropping July 28th

I haven’t paid much attention to Freshman, Ace Hood. But this song encourages me to look into his music a bit more. I like the whole feel of this song, something positive but it has listenability. You know how sometimes artists go for the positive song and come off corny or preachy, but this is inspirational. Jazmine Sullivan was the perfect singer for this song. Her husky, soulful voice was the right platform for the words she sang. All in all I’m feeling the song and the video, it really didn’t need Rick Ross though…just sayin’

Kellz Is 42 years old. I think we forget that sometimes and he’s too old to be on Autotunes. Anyway Kellz recently tried to holla at a young lady while in London. Fail!

He told the young lady: “Come back with me to my hotel. It’s only seven minutes away. I haven’t invited anybody else back. Well… maybe one or two girls… I want to make you feel good, like you never have before. I’m for real.”

And if that wasn’t enough, Kelly, 42, took a different tactic, trying to rub the girl’s back and grip her hair, saying: “Do you like that? It’s pain, but it’s good pain, isn’t it?’”

Too bad for Kelly, as the girl in question didn’t want to be one of a crowd. Better luck next time, R! It was a long night for the singer, who had spent the day at Harrods and been to see Lion King. But Kelly more than proved his staying power by partying at the Soho club ­until the early hours. Source!

Here’s a new artist from Brooklyn doing some sort of medley of southern rap songs. *blank stare*
Let me start by saying I hate “Swag Surfin”, I make a point to sit down in the club when the DJ plays it.
To hear yet another New York rapper rap over a southern song gets under my skin! Where is the originality?! Let the southern rappers do their southern rap, why not focus on putting New York (the birthplace of hip hop) back on the map!
And to hear the chorus be that terrible dragging out of words mixed with Souljah Boy’s terrible songs left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
*sigh*… maybe it’s just me.
