I think it’s safe to say that Trey Songz is one of the only R&B singers with enough street credibility to drop a mixtape. I think after that DOA R.Kelly diss, Trey Songz got more respect from people. Not to mention the fact that he’s changed so much. It’s like he cut his braids, dressed better, got some confidence somewhere and became sexy as hell….

Musically, I’m currently in a creative space like no other. I feel as though whenever a mic is put in front of me, I can do no wrong. At a time in the music industry where album sales are low, fans are fickle, inconsistent, or more into the various songs than they are the particular artist, I feel that I must give u a reason to love me. Embed in you a desire to love me and an appreciation for the music. I must show you that not only do I LOVE what I do but I also do it well.

The creation of ANTICIPATION began after I presented READY to my label the first time. I just started recording on my days off and the music felt great and decided that I’d rather share the music than let it sit and be idle. This is music without politics, without creative boundaries.

I’m a fan of Mario, but I’m not sure how I feel about him covering 90’s classic Come & Talk To Me. Only K-Ci and Jo Jo can do K-Ci and Jo Jo. It’s not wack, I’m just use to Jodeci. eh! (**Sidebar** I sung this for an 8th grade talent show) It’s dope nonetheless and bound to get some young girls knocked up. Check out this newly released music from Mario.

Here’s a mixtape for Bussa Buss’ … (sigh) I have to say, Busta hasn’t had the same appeal to me ever since …he cut his dreads. I think that was the point I lost some interest. I’ll give this a listen and see if he is interesting to me again. Tracklist looks kind of promising though..hmmm…

Every now and then a rapper, will do something absolutely brilliant. This is one of those times. Musician Charles Hamilton not only came up with an amazing idea he wants to tell you about it and his new mixtape.

“Basically, the project is an episode of “Cinematic Hallucinations”, which is like a Masterpiece Theatre kind of show. It’s hosted and narrated by Conner Harrington (me). And the movie being premiered is “Well Isn’t This Awkward”, a movie that stars Charles Hamilton and an “anonymous” female.

Charles Hamilton is a homeless musician (not a hard role to play) that has a paranormal romantic bond with a rich young woman that lives in a penthouse. They never verbally spoke or physically saw each other, but they’re in love in their own dimension.

One day, the owner of the building invited Charles inside to play his music for the people of the building. This is his chance to both impress a crowd of rich people who can possibly change his living situation and let the girl he’s in love with supernaturally know how he feels… on the surface.” – Charles Hamilton via Loose Neck
