If you caught the first interview you were probably looking forward to part two. Semtex has some of the best interviews, he asks all the questions I’d like to know the answers to and Drake doesn’t give half assed answers either which makes for an interesting interview.

Drake was supposed to pass through my show last Friday, but he canceled at the last minute due to a studio session that was running late……..with Rihanna.

I hooked up with him the following day, instead of doing the usual studio interview, we hit Hyde Park, which is London’s equivalent of Central Park.

Drake has so much buzz right now, and he has so many haters. I understand people not liking an artist for whatever reason but I would like someone to have some basis for the hate.
So if you DONT like Drake, why not? and if you do, why do you like him?

Mike Waxx over at illroots.com caught up with some of my favorite underground artists during a Foundation Magazine photoshoot.

At SOBs last night Peter Rosenberg catches up wth Drake and touches on Drake’s Jewish-ness (?), Rihanna rumors and Kanye West even shows up and kicks it on the flip cam for a while. I heard it was a freakin zoo at SOBs last night, the man Drake causes hysteria.

While reading the articles in an old issue of Playboy from 03′ I came across a very interesting article with Jay-Z talking about his relationship with Beyonce’. He even goes as far to say he would pick Memphis Bleek over Beyonce’.

PLAYBOY: Something else that’s new on Blueprint 2—your mistrust of women has softened.
JAY-Z: Right. People already know my paranoia about women. Before I was a rapper who didn’t know who his friends were, I was a hustler who didn’t know who his friends were. When it’s a song about women, it’s usually the single, which makes people say, This guy is dissing women on every fucking record. [Laughs] Big Pimpin’, Can I Get a Fuck You, those are the hits. But the slower ones are usually more meaningful and serious.

PLAYBOY: Do you think women are less trustworthy than men?
JAY-Z: No. But guys don’t want to date me for my money, so I don’t have to worry about them.

Semtex chops it up with Drake via telephone on his radio show. With all the boring interviews out there, I was grateful for this interview, it definitely kept my attention. Semtex touched on Drake becoming apart of Wayne’s camp, some of the premises behind tracks on  ’So Far Gone‘  and Drake’s takeover of America, and the fact he’s not even from the US.
