I remember my first kiss, it was in a pizzaria with a spanish girl. I was very nervous as hell, mainly because we had been talking about kissing each other for 2 weeks. Until we actually decided to lip lock at her friends birthday party. The moment came, and I think I did okay! Since that moment, me and my big ole soup coolers were a kissing machine. Girlfriend after girlfriend would get kissed and kissed some more. Until about 10th grade, and a few things started to happen.

First was a white girl, who told me kissing would get you mono, in my twisted high school mind I thought it was a white person’s illness and it sort of turned me off to white women. Second was Snoop Dogg’s album, which introduced me to the pimp culture. I started reading every pimp book I could my hands on. Not to mention watching every pimp movie available at Blockbuster. From The Pimp by Iceberg Slim to Goldie and the Mack I thought I was a ladies man who could have any women I wanted, and it was sort of the truth. So as a handsome tenth grader with a job and a car it is no wonder an influx of coochie would literally allow me to f*ck girls and not even kiss them. This became regular practice to me.

As I grew up I found myself being more cautious with my tongue than the manxilla. Not that I was running in women unprotected, hell no, just that I would stick myself in more women than I kissed, and now as an adult, that’s just ass backwards. So, I found myself only kissing women I actually liked, and wanted to build a relationship with and turning my head away from jumpoff’s and chicks I only wanted to smash.

It wasn’t until recently that I rediscovered the passion in kissing. A short Brooklyn girl with a fetish for ugg’s, Ipods, and The Office really enlightened me to the joys of kissing. I loved kissing her. Her lips were so soft, her mouth was like heaven and I liked her more than a lot of other things… even blogging.

Then yesterday while walking in the rain, I saw a couple kissing and started to think, is kissing a lost art in sex? Why do some women enjoy kissing and other dread the act? Do women put men in the same category I once lumped my girls in? I thought about all the times I shared myself without taking the time to savour a woman’s tongue and dance around in her mouth with something other than my “manxilla”.

So today I ask you all this: Do you enjoy kissing? Do you think it’s disgusting? Why are some people quicker to sleep with a person than they are to kiss them?

Well I believe that we as men need to swallow our pride and understand that when you have a woman who is determined to be successful you have to do certain things in order for the relationship to work.

Remember that she is a great woman, and probably the best woman you’ve ever had so don’t take her for granted.

Don’t whine because she can’t spend a lot of time with you, because in the long run every moment will be better due to the hard work the both of you put in the relationship.

Schedule time for the 2 of you to be together. She has to eat, so take the lead by setting dinner reservations or preparing dinner can get you some extra points.

Nothing says take a break like good s*x, so hit it from the back, and say the right things and she’ll be down to spend more time with you.
