There comes a time in a man’s life when you have to separate yourself from your friends and do you. Personally I never been a sidekick type of dude, so I stepped out and moved to Atlanta and craved my own way. It’s not like I don’t have love for my for my dudes, I just had to step out and do me. So now that Drake is larger than life, its no wonder he’s laying the ground work to step out of the shadow of Lil Wayne and his Young Money brand.

Trey Songz is killing the RnB game right now. He’s taking everyone’s hits and making them better. It really reminds me of what Biggie used to do, and how R Kelly would come along and remix a song and actually make it better. It’s a great thing to see in today’s game of just adding a hot rapper on a song and calling it a remix. By hot rapper I mean a rapper who is getting a lot of spins. Not actually a rapper who can rap. Trey will be releasing 2 songs every Monday until his album drops, which means there are more hits to come. [II]

Drake was supposed to pass through my show last Friday, but he canceled at the last minute due to a studio session that was running late……..with Rihanna.

I hooked up with him the following day, instead of doing the usual studio interview, we hit Hyde Park, which is London’s equivalent of Central Park.

Drake has so much buzz right now, and he has so many haters. I understand people not liking an artist for whatever reason but I would like someone to have some basis for the hate.

I was confronted with an opinion from a fellow blogger that Drake will disappear within a 2 year span and he wouldn’t be surprised at all. I had to respectfully disagree only because Drake is everything his hype presupposes. He lives up to all of it and then some… when you have a cosign from Kanye and Jay without even releasing an album you gotta be something special. When is the last time you saw an underground artist (or any hip hop artist in general besides Jay and Kanye) live up to the massive hype around them? Exactly. If Drake wasn’t getting all this attention people would stress how “underrated” he is. I’m tired of people bitchin about the man getting attention, he’s earned it.

Now, I’m in no way shape or form implying that these two are a couple, but these young money niggas get a lot of p*ssy. Wayne is rumored to have slept with half of the women in the industry, from Trina, Nivea, Teairra Mari and now Lauren London and in the last week, Drake has been tied to both Rihanna and Teyana Taylor. So with that said I need to know this from the females who read this blog. Why are women attracted to men who have a lot of sex?

At SOBs last night Peter Rosenberg catches up wth Drake and touches on Drake’s Jewish-ness (?), Rihanna rumors and Kanye West even shows up and kicks it on the flip cam for a while. I heard it was a freakin zoo at SOBs last night, the man Drake causes hysteria.

Unless you’ve been ducking the internet, your friends even random people on the street, you should know by now that there were some rumors regarding Drake and Rihanna hooking up. Apparently they were caught kissing in New York on Monday. This is shocking for so many reasons. As we all know Rihanna is now the poster child for domestic violence , and through it all supposedly she and Chris stayed together, then she was seen with some other guy on the beach, and now Drake?! There is no doubt, homegirl loves herself some hi-yella men. Poor girl, her life is too much in the public.
