Does love mean anything anymore? Malik had to ask hisself this question numerous times, after leaving a hotel room, only to return home to his girl, baby mother and love of his life. Sure he stepped out for some easy booty, but Malik knows his heart truly belongs to the woman he’s going home to, but the double life is killing him. Another random girl who gave it up quick, after a few drinks and amazing conversation.

Meanwhile Malik’s wife Kesha is at home, taking care of the kids, cooking hot meals and she knows she’s w/ the best man she ever had. She understands that her man may have dipped for one night, but he’s coming home. She may of had her man once but she’s got him all the time. I am reminded of the song He’s Mine by MoKenStef a 90’s girl group who had a smash hit which pretty much okayed cheating. Fast Forward to today, where in the age of a black president we live in a world of cut buddies and jump offs. No more paper work or titles are needed for sex. Instead it’s an agreement that we are seeing other people, don’t question me, because I don’t want to be bothered, don’t expect too much from me because all you’ll get is sex and maybe an occasional date or two.

Surely the logic is a bit sexist but it’s coming from the women. I have met numerous women who have said they aren’t looking for a relationship, only friendships and maybe if he is not a total jerk he can get some benefits. But, who is really getting the benefits? I know when I have sex my mission is to make a woman squirt, cum, pull sheets off the bed and leave her walking funny for a few days after. I know when its time to do the do things are going to happen and I’m not going to be the only one at the top of the mountain, smoking a newport as we stare at each other saying “I’m too tired to go get you something to drink” laugh and do it again, until we wake up in the morning not remembering how we fell asleep. Been there huh? lol

Yet even more so these days things get a bit too complicated and you’ll have a beneficial friendship that will go on for months and even years. Take Cam for instance. He’s been having sex with the same woman for 2 years already. This woman is not his girlfriend, just his friend w/ benefits. He feels like she’s the only woman who ever understood him. He feels comfortable around her, and it got to the point where he told her those 3 words. I love you.

But, there is a catch after the most coveted 3 words in every relationship he hit her w/ “but, i’m not in love w/ you” A female friend of mine called me to tell ask me what does that mean. I mentioned he is probably scared of what she would say and it’s probably just to protect him from whatever it is she would say. Women nowadays are more like men and most of the ladies here know they should never say the L word first. Well maybe us men are feeling the same.

The other day, I got a message of Facebook asking me what do you do when you’re thinking about an ex lover and your ex is trying to get back with you. It struck close to home, because a member of my family is thinking about getting back with an ex. So after a lot of thought and putting myself in those same shoes I finally had a clear enough head to write about the topic. There are a few things you need to ask yourself before you get back together with an ex.

Why did the two of your break up?

• Over time wounds heal, but before you leap back into a relationship with an old lover think about what went wrong in the past. Before you make the jump you should honestly feel like you can right the wrongs of the past and be sure that they won’t do the same thing they did before.

Have you fully healed from the past pain?

• If you still hold any sort of emotional baggage from that past relationship it’s probably best not to make that jump backwards. It will lead to anger, resentment and arguing. Forgiveness is the most important part of getting back together. It’s okay to forgive but never forget. I have an ex who brings up the reason we broke up everytime we talk to each other. It’s been almost 8 years and she still randomly hits me up to remind me that we are broken up.

Are you still attracted to this person?

• I firmly believe that you never stop loving a person, but the attraction does indeed die. The feeling of love will make your mind think you want to get back with someone but you have to look further than that because if your not attracted to one another it will lead to more fighting and more problems. The last thing you want is to be stuck in an old relationship with someone you’re not attracted to just look at a rerun of the Bundy’s and think this could be my life… Do you want that?

Have they become a better person?

• One of my exes was a walking train wreck when I was with her. No shots though she may even say the same thing about me, but when I see her now I see she is a million times better as a person than she was when I was calling her wifey. With time a person should grow, and learn from past mistakes. If it’s been a few years and your ex is still trying to check your phone, question your every move, or simply still a lame in bed you might not want to go back in that direction.

Is the sexual recipe still the same.

• Another thing I believe people should do before getting back together is to sleep with their ex before Laing that final jump. If you liked it before who is to say you’ll still like it. I use to Dispsy Doodle chips when I was a child but I tasted some the other day and I hated them. It just wasn’t the same and sex is the same way. I think great sex can make up for a lot of things and while we can’t get all of our questions answered with the answer we would like if the sex is still good it might make up for a few wrong answers.

Tasha was in the house cleaning up and listening to the radio when she heard a song which reminder her of her boo. She decided to give him a call to let him know she was thinking about him and maybe call him over and make it a blockbuster night. She turned the radio down, picked up her blackberry bold and called her boo. No one picked up. Maybe he was busy so she shot him a text message and went back to cleaning. A little sad, sort of angry and very upset this was the final straw and caused her to start to believe her man was cheating on her. 

He called back a few hours later and told her he left his phone in the car. Tasha didn’t believe him, but she accepted his excuse and invited him over. He said he was too tired and declined her invitation but promised they could kick it tomorrow at 8. Tomorrow finally came, and he showed up late smelling like pear scented lotion. She was furious, but as females do she gave him the silent, short answer treatment, but as the night went on she couldn’t resist his baby brown eyes, muscular body and urban swag. So she gave in and the two of them had amazing sex that night.

She rode it, threw it back from the back, begged him to grab her hair and smack her a$$ and even asked him to… Long story short she put him to bed.

Later that night, she woke up to use the bathroom, and grab a drink since his snoring woke her up. While on her way into the kitchen she noticed his cell phone was laying on the table. She looked at the screen and noticed he had 14 missed calls. Most of them from a number labeled Chinese food. She wanted to ignore it, and just pour some juice and go back to bed, but then a text came through. It was a picture message. Tasha couldn’t resist, she picked up his phone and saw Chinese food was a actually a chick who had a better body than her, a little prettier than her and to make matters worse this chick was naked playing with herself saying she missed her man. Tasha’s man, their man. The one in Tasha’s bed snoring so loud it woke her in the middle of the night.

Tasha looked back at the room, looked at the phone, looked at her glass, then looked at the gourmet knife rack sitting on her counter. She was pissed.

A while back I wrote a blog called don’t check his phone you won’t like what you see. While the above scenario is a bit extreme it does happen. Our curiosity causes us to snoop for stuff we don’t want to find. And when we do we hurl our self in to a world of heartache anger and rage. All over some no good sex partner who shared too much. So with that i ask: Would you check your mates phone if you thought they were cheating on you?

Dear Lindsay Lohan,

Hi, My name is Xilla, and I’m your biggest fan. I decided to write you because well, frankly I think you’re awesome. I know you recently broke up with your girlfriend Sam. The paps stayed outside with you and watch you cry as your girlfriend showed up with another woman. That must of sucked. I recently wrote a blog about how to cheat and not get caught and people thought I was a cheater, but thats not true. I actually won’t cheat and will not cheat. I decided to write you and let you know why I don’t, and won’t cheat on a woman I’m with.

Now don’t take that as if I have never cheated because that is not the case, I have cheated before and I became so good that I know how to cheat, pretty much without getting caught. Also that is not to say that I haven’t been caught. Getting caught is the reason why I won’t cheat. You see I’m not the type of person that will sit here and MAKE BELIEVE like unmoral things don’t happen or exist. Just because someone thinks it’s wrong doesn’t mean an issue shouldn’t be talked about. The cheaters need a venue as well.

Different strokes different folks, what works for you may not work for me.  We can agree that we disagree on this topic.  We are shaped by our experiences.  Growing up I watched a friends family fall apart because the father was unfaithful.  I saw the hurt and was always there for her.  That is why i will not do it.  It does not appear to be  fruitful and more times than not someone always gets hurt.  I am not holier than though.  I just refuse to disrespect the woman I am with, myself and the woman I would be cheating with.  If that is what you do have at it.  Also, It is not unnatural to be faithful.  It requires self control.  But again, we disagree and I can live with that.

Now while his comment makes a lot of sense, he sort of implies that I disrespect women, that the idea of being with more than one woman is somehow not natural. We live on a planet where women outnumber men, maybe that’s the reason why you like women huh Lindsay?  Well I’ve cheated before, I had the perfect woman who just happened to come in the form of 3 different females. I was exclusive to them, no other women caught my eye other then them. Without telling the whole entire story, because the pain from the events that took place is still able to be felt. But as I watched the 3 women cry their hearts out I saw first hands the problem with lying about the things you do. The first hand effects of not telling the truth. Ironically this is also the reason why I don’t think cheating is entirely wrong, because when I tell a women up front that hey I intend to see other people 90% of them choose to stay around and continue to be with me. 

So, Lindsay, I want to know if you think cheating is wrong, or is it just a matter of not telling the truth to a person and being upfront. Numerous women will be with a guy if she has the choice of knowing the things that go on, in regards to a relationship being open or not. If you’re having fun, being responsible and being respectful to a woman by telling the truth are they cool with seeing other people.

Cheating, has been around since the beginning of time, and one might even say it’s a natural thing to do. I’ve seen monkey’s cheat on the discovery channel. Yet in all people hate being cheated despite having a hard time defining what exactly is cheating. So with that said, I want to apply some basic rules to creeping or cheating so you’ll never get caught.

Never Cheat In Your Home:

• One thing I’ve found a lot of people do, is invite their side piece over to their house where their boo lives or spends a lot of time at. I never understood this. It’s like you’re screaming to get caught, your side piece might leave something their, or worst shed on your pillows. Nothing is worth than finding someone else’s hair on your boo’d bed. 

Push The Seat Back:

• Another mistake people make happens in the car, They forget to push the seat back to the spot it was when their boo got out. I know myself, I always ask who you had in the car when the seat is pushed too far back or leaning in an extremely hood way. I even ask when the seat is pushed too close to the dashboard. That means one of two things, either you have a midget best friend or you were in the back seat getting it busy.

Different Towns:

• Never flaunt your side piece in the town that your main lives in, that’s just stupid, you leave people the option of telling your business. Then you’ll end up alone and labeled as a cheater and that’s not a tag anyone wants. 

Different Place:

• A lot of times we get what I like to call the Batman effect. Same Bat Channel and same Bat time. We bring our side piece to the same spot we bring our main piece to, I never understood this, its dumb. If you creep its pretty clear that you don’t want to get caught, so why cross that line?  You’ll just end up having a not so dumb argument. 

Don’t Leave A Log:

• A lot of times people are caught cheating by someone who went through their phone, and emails. People if you know you’re creeping protect yourself by deleting flirty messages and text. Leave a few innocent ones their so you’re boo won’t expect anything. Make a side folder where you know it won’t get checked. A lot of times people snooping for dirt, only check the inbox and the outbox… Always remember to log out, and clean your trash. 

Wear A Condom:

• The absolute worst way to find out you’ve been cheated on is to catch something, get pregnant or find a condom wrapper hiding somewhere. I know in the heat of the moment condom wrappers tend to go flying across the room and all, but if you’re creeping make sure you get rid of it in a neutral spot, like the sewer, public trash can or somewhere that it won’t pop up. I recently found an empty condom wrapper in my luggage. I wanted to dispose of it accordingly and didn’t want to leave any evidence. 

Time: 

• If you’re going to cheat one important thing we forget, is to spend the same amount of time with the main as we did before. A great sign to know if your main is cheating is to evaluate the amount of time they use to spend w/ you, with the amount of time they are spending with you now. If you’re really smart you’re clear an extra hour of time to spend even more time w/ your main while giving your side piece that hour on Tuesday and Thursday.

It seems like more women are crying over their man’s facebook status or comment. In today’s world, a flirtatious twitter message or comment can lead a woman to snap like Sara from Da Band. A new study even suggest that you may be caught in the facebook feedback loop. Don’t worry it’s not new at all, the only difference is now you can see the things your boo says.

“If your boyfriend is calling or texting another girl, you can’t really see it. But on Facebook, you can see it and so can everyone else, so in a way, you do get jealous because he might be hanging his dirty laundry, and not only are you seeing it, but other people are, too.”

Colin Booth of West Virginia University said he is not the jealous type, but finds it a strange, modern phenomenon to watch your girlfriend develop other relationships in real time on Facebook.

“It’s been happening forever. You’re with a girl, she meets a guy, they’re friends at first,” Booth said. “But it’s the way you see it and what you see. And then you think: What’s going on under the surface if this is what’s going on in public?”

It’s this public disrespect that can lead someone into going crazy and spending the night on the bed crying their eyes out. A lot of time for us men, we really don’t care, sometimes it’s just a matter of our pride getting in the way and taking control of our emotions. This can lead us to asking too many questions and calling our women saying stupid stuff to our women like “Whose d*ck you sucking?”

Now certainly for us average normal sexual intellectuals out there we are not going to go to this extreme but we have to take our time before we jump to conclusions. We are in a new world, one our elders can’t give us any advice on. We are learning by ear. So take the time to listen, talk and love one another. Don’t be afraid to answer a few extra questions from the person we are involved with because a quick bit of explaining can save a relationship. All too often we feel like we don’t have to answer to anyone, but we do. At least we do if we really want to find true love.

“It seems like Facebook is creating jealousy even where there was not jealousy to begin with,” said Amy Muise, a doctoral candidate at the University of Guelph’s psychology department who led a recent study on how Facebook can spark jealousy in romantic relationships among college students.

She said Facebook doesn’t necessarily make people more jealous than they would be normally. But all the information divulged on Facebook — those answers to “What’s on your mind?” and reactions to those posts — can increase “triggers” for jealousy.

The study was based on anonymous online survey data from 308 undergraduate Facebook users, three quarters of them women. The study, published in CyberPsychology & Behavior, found Facebook users can get snagged in a “feedback loop”: Their interest piqued by a cryptic wall comment, they become suspicious and start monitoring their partner’s pages, thus finding even more suspicious information.

A while back I wrote a blog about why you shouldn’t tell your lover you cheated and most ladies agreed. I personally think ladies cheat way more than men, we men just never find out. Recently I came to the conclusion that flirting should be accepted in a relationship even if it’s sexual. For one, you can’t stop another person from hitting on your boo, and two, I would say that 80% of people in relationships, flirt with someone other than their mate.

People like people, and they will say the craziest things to display their attraction. Things like, I would eat you until I burp, or as one woman told me “I’ll have you speaking Spanish, talking bout I want to f*ck you like I hate you”. But, what happens when flirting goes too far, should you tell your boo you’ve cheated on them? Well I have a few reasons why you should.

You can never count on the other person not to come through and spill the beans to your boo. That is the last thing you want. This has happened to me a few times, once my mother was the culprit of leaking key information that changed my life. People are messy and there is always someone who wants to come in and steal your joy of having your cake and eating it too. With that said it’s always best to be the one to break the news. That way you have more of a chance to stay with the lover of your choice.
