Charles Hamilton has really made a mess of himself (and not in the fun way) In case you aren’t hip to the situation House Shoes explains it all in the video. I’ve kept my thoughts to myself about the situation because Charles Hamilton has become a joke and he’s pretty pathetic. But now it’s time to vent a little. In case you aren’t familiar with him (seeing as how most people aren’t), he’s known as “Sonic The Hedgehog”, he was named one of XXL’s ten Freshmen and has released mixtape after mixtape that were decent. He is signed to Interscope Records where he has yet to release a debut album. He’s had beef with Souljah Boy and Rhymefest, he’s been torn apart in freestyle’s from Serius Jones and been punched right in the face by his own girlfriend for all of the internets to see. His career is on a downward spiral before it has even started…and now this. I think CH is hellbent on pissing people off! Naming J.Dilla (the late great producer\rapper) as the Executive Producer on his latest compilation of music. We all know attaching the name of a deceased person to your work is serious business, and the dead never die in music… you still hear music from Biggie these days but its “Ok” because its Puffy, his once close and personal friend,who puts the music out. Since Charles Hamilton has no ties to Dilla, Ma Dukes, or seemingly anyone in Detroit for that matter he has no right to attach “James Yancy” to the album, period. And don’t even get me started on that artwork…What we have here ladies and gentlemen has to be someone with daddy issues. Someone who didn’t get hugged enough as a child. Seeking attention is nothing new, we all see celebrities and average people vie for attention daily, but I think most people know when to quit, when to draw the line. After this video I just feel like House Shoes showed how a man deals with a situation like this. Hammy better watch his back, I’m sure all of Detroit wants a piece of him…and judging from House Shoes background on twitter and the constant “RIP’s” said in the video ,this situation is just a news story waiting to happen.
The moral of the story is have some respect!! Hammy continues to pop off via his twitter page, but to me this situation is like a car crash, I can’t look away, although it is so painful to watch.
These young dudes in the industry are getting out of pocket more and more, and C.Hamilton is now the posterchild for what NOT to do!

“Basically, the project is an episode of “Cinematic Hallucinations”, which is like a Masterpiece Theatre kind of show. It’s hosted and narrated by Conner Harrington (me). And the movie being premiered is “Well Isn’t This Awkward”, a movie that stars Charles Hamilton and an “anonymous” female.

Charles Hamilton is a homeless musician (not a hard role to play) that has a paranormal romantic bond with a rich young woman that lives in a penthouse. They never verbally spoke or physically saw each other, but they’re in love in their own dimension.

One day, the owner of the building invited Charles inside to play his music for the people of the building. Kanye West covers the Vibe mag and Charles Hamilton covers Fader. These two have been compared often. I think it’s a good look for both of them. Mr. West also wants you all to know that he’s not a violent person as he told Vibe mag. “I’m good at restraining myself from committing violent acts. Soulja Boy was recently asked about the whole Charles Hamilton situation and basically threatened that he will end Charles Hamilton’s career. HA! That might be the funniest thing I heard all year. Check out that video under the cut.

Charles Hamilton premiered his video for one of my favorite songs, Brooklyn Girls last night. I will say I like the video it was innovating and not your usually booty bouncing 3 minutes and 40 something seconds of film.
