Necole Bitchie – Life As A Blogger

Every now and then you come across a person so rare, so unique that it floors you. A person who is genuinely kind hearted, real and to the point. So please allow me to share with you an inside look into the soul of one of the realest people I’ve meet. Introducing Necole Bitchie’s Life As A Blogger
How long have you been blogging?
Believe it or not, I’ve been blogging since 2004. I started what I thought was an online diary and I would write about my life not knowing that people could subscribe and my little personal blogs would go to their inbox. I had up to 150 subscribers and people would comment and I’m like “okay this is cool”. So I’m sharing very personal details with these people not knowing that later in life I would run into half of them. It’s not until someone runs up to you in a club and start telling you all of your own damn business that you are like “oh sh*t”
So you were in the club pop locking and dropping and someone came to up to you like… Necole Bitchie, that blog you wrote was… lol What was the craziest thing you posted as a personal blogger?
I went out with this dude and that night we had a smoochfest and he marked my neck up with these hickies. I’m like “who the hell does that?? What are we in high school”. So I blog about it, not knowing that his ex-girlfriend was a subscriber to my blog. How small is this world?? Apparently marking his territory was his thing. So she hits me by email and we start sharing stories. I dumped his a—but she is like one of my best friends now so something good came out of it.
Ok I get it, you went from regular people who sucked to famous people who sucked… Good Move. Since you switched genres you have interviewed many celebs have any ever tried to holla?
I’ve only interviewed a few celebs but I’ve been working in the entertainment industry with celebs for about three years now. I mean it comes with the territory, especially when you are working in an industry dominated by men.
So what was the wildest thing one of them said or did?
Well I only made the mistake one time of giving out my number to an artist and he called me from a hotel room in his draws and the mood music on
So her was trying to get his Booty call on, did you go?
Hell no, I had a party to go to. I was like “boy bye”
Who was it? I’m not telling you that!! He’s younger than me and that’s all I will say.
Bow WOW!!! lol Nah really, Did he try to have phone sex with you?
It’s hard having phone sex with someone that’s running to their car
The True Meaning Of Hit and Run!! What is the wildest thing that someone has ever said to you?
Well I can’t think of anything off the bat but this rapper name Saigon sent my friend a text message that said “see you out here yampin’ stampin’ and trampin’ when you could have had some superstar dick”. Now that was classic!
Ummm Saigon is a superstar now? More like a S-List person whose face you might recognize… Moving on, What separates you from the other entertainment blogs?
Well, I didn’t intend for it to be an entertainment blog at first. I wanted Necole Bitchie to be about my life. An expression of who I am and what I’ve been through but I put the layout up and got scared. I didn’t think I was ready to open up and share myself with people again so I started doing the celeb thing in the meantime. Of course I feature shoes that I like and new music. I also interview people on the come up. The “rich brokes” as Steph Jones would say. They have a lot more to say because they haven’t really made it yet. Also, I don’t talk as much sh*t on my blog as I could but at the end of the day, it’s easy to talk shit about people and hide behind a computer screen and I didn’t want my blog to be like that.
Speaking of hiding behind the blogs how you feel about people throwing stones in glass houses? Other people judge but its like… look at you you really should be saying anything about anybody you look like king kong?
You know what, people do what works for them and I can’t knock their hustle. Each blog is different and I love that. I really don’t talk that much sh*t so I can’t speak for everyone else. The thing is, in this blogging game, especially when you are covering celebs, you have to be ready to be scrutinized. Sometimes people aren’t going to like your opinions and the things you have to say. Some people may attack you for your personal beliefs but I feel if you can dish it, you better be ready to take it.
Take it,,, Umm Necole… Okay I won’t go there. What’s the biggest misconception about Necole Bitchie?
You should know, because you told me. People assume off the bat that I’m gonna be stuck up and they meet me and I’m like a down a—chick. I’m a rida. Also, I’ve had to overcome tremendous obstacles that people do not know about. So they always assume that I’ve had it easy and I haven’t.
Yeah from knowing you, I know you’re always on the move. Why did you travel so much?
I’ve pretty much been chasing my dreams and I refuse to let fear itself hold me back. It’s funny but every time someone talks to me, I’m in a different city or state. I’m probably the most unstable female you will ever meet…. in your life. [laughs]
Why do you say that?
Well In the last year and a half I’ve lived in five different states, need I say more…[laughs] I’ve come to realize that life is really short and you have to live each day like it’s your last. I really don’t talk about this much but I lost my grandmother (who was my light) and both of my parents. They were young you know and I feel as though they didn’t get to achieve their goals and their full potential before their passing. Back in 05 before Ne-Yo came out he saw me at work and he asked “Are you doing what you want to do in life.” And I’m like “shoot I don’t know…I think…” He responded “ You need to be doing what you want to do.” Then he says “If I die tomorrow, I would atleast be able to say that I died doing what I was destined to do in life”. That really hit home and it’s always stuck with me.
Any final words for this week?
Two words: DO YOU! I think a lot of people fall short of achieving their goals or doing what is true to them in life because they are scared of what other people may think. We get tied down by jobs we hate and see no real progression because of the fear of failing and people telling us “I told you so”. You are going to have people that tell you that what you want in life can not be achieved only because they are envious that you are even trying when they may have given up. You will have people that tell you that you shouldn’t go for it, just because they care about you enough that they don’t want to see you fail. But at the end of the day it’s about what is real to you and what you want. Don’t let anyone live your life for you. Do what’s real to you. Last but not least, Never Sell Your Soul for a Dollar.
