So I’ll avoid the obvious joke here … “Loon has gone Looney” (hardy har) and just say that this didn’t shock me one bit. Loon didn’t have much of a rap career to begin with, he got features on Diddy songs and some others herer and there, but the sad part was he wasn’t a ‘bad’ rapper. Just poorly managed.
I first chuckled a Loon’s beard and Muslim garb…but when they split screened the video and put clips from Loon’s videos, I couldn’t help but laugh seeing Diddy harlem shaking in the camera as Loon is trying to profess his love for his new lifestyle… *lol*
Under the cut you will find Itsthereal’s latest video ( a diss to Vlad TV) and XXL’s I Know Rap People: DJ Drama vs. DJ Whoo Kid
Who else but Drake could grace the BET awards stage in the same year he released a MIXTAPE without ever releasing an album?….I’ll wait
Above you will see the post show interview with a very enthusiastic Big Tigga, Jamie Foxx and Queen Latifah…. oh and Teeny and Tiny (or whoever they are) were there too
After the jump you will find Drake’s BET Awards ‘09 performing while on a stool. He tore his ACL but showed up to fill his slot regardless (insert ‘Wheelchair Jimmy’ jokes here). I did hear that his sound check was less then stellar and BET made Drake do the soundcheck twice! Whatever the case may be, the performance turned out ok. I think Drake is used to commanding attention with a handicap. (Degrassi)
(I agree with Shake, I have a problem with the little girls on stage while “I wish I could love every girl” was performed….not the right look)
Premiering on the BET Awards last night, here is the video to support the movement.
Hit the jump for Jay-Z’s BET Awards ‘09 performance (sans the fro…finally!)
-1AM (more…)
I like Day 26, I do. But when I watch their videos and I see bitch ass Que, I just feel like turning it off!
It was a bad move for Diddy to air that last season of MB4… made me look at all them dudes sideways.
The video however, is cute, your standard R&B video.
Here’s a group coming out of the West Coast. They go by PacDiv (Pacific Division). Here is one of their more popular tracks, and the video for it is dope. I look forward to anything this group has to put out, they are a creative bunch as you can see.
