Before Jay-z and Beyonce, before Nick Cannon and Mariah, and before Fantasia & Dro the number 1 hood couple was Aaliyah & Dame Dash. In my opinion the coolest hip hop couple ever. Dame once said of Aaliyah “Wherever we were was like our own little party, in our own little world. She was the only girl that got to hang out with my homeboys on the level of a homeboy. It was like being able to be with your homeboy and your girl at the same time” If that’s not hood love. For the rest of the list Read the rest of this entry »

Apparently there is an actually Ghetto Film School where Dame Dash & Marky Mark are on the advisory board. Part of there mission statement is “ASSETS-BASED teaching – recognizing the glass is also “half-full” with today’s urban youth” I wonder if they teach people how to make movies like Soul Plane and Death of a Dynasty. Oh and the 2 woman Dame is hugged up with are also in attendance at the 4th Annual Ghetto Film School benefit dinner and awards ceremony at Bottino on June 9, 2008 in New York City. I bet they served Fried Chicken and Watermelon.

If you could see the look on my face right now. I started to write this long rant on how big lips are in and how everyone wants to be a nigger. But then I realized that I might as well know who a person is before I bash them. So I google Amanda Lepore and come to find out this is a man!!! So I’ll just reserve my comments to myself.

You’re not too cute not to burp, fart, sneeze or cough. I think its so sexy for a girl to have body movements, that require them to say excuse me. Because most of them are so focused on trying to be cute that they hold them in and mess up their insides at the sake of trying to be cute. SMCH!!

Tina said: “Beyonce was one of the ones that were sitting in front of her little television, her little self looking at the big screen when I was Tina in the ‘Ike and Tina Turner days’ and she took from all the stars at the time. Diana Ross influenced her, I influenced her. What I like about her is that she knows what she’s doing, she really did her homework and decided to stay elegant. She’s not rock ‘n’ roll - she’s totally elegant. Unless your rock ‘n’ roll from the heart you can’t mimic that. The stance, the movements, it has to come from the inside.” Source
Newsflash Tina, I don’t think Beyonce was born, I do think all those blows to the head did something to your thought process. Looooovvveee Yooooo
