Jay is going really hard to get Obama elected. I would even say that Jay-Z drive has done more for the election process than Diddy’s Vote or Die campaign. Don’t get me wrong Diddy is doing his thing with his Diddy blogs. But Jigga is moving the crowd.

Jay-Z graces the cover of this month’s issue of Time Out as a member of New York 40. In the issue he discloses his favorite NY moment of him going to see Diana Ross.

Jay-Z: That’s a difficult one. I always relate it back to music—I don’t have a life outside of that. Playing the Garden, headlining that for the first time, was—Oh! I have my greatest moment! I don’t even know how I forgot this! When I was a teenager, early teenage years—maybe later, I went to see Diana Ross in Central Park, in the rain, the infamous “in the rain.” And it started raining and everyone started running. And I’m running and slid down the entire hill. Oh, it was the greatest day.
Diana was pretty hot. Were you old enough to—
Jay-Z: Yeah, I had hormones. I thought she was fantastic. Her hair was blowing. The rain was hitting her face, and her outfit was, well—It was working for me. And she really braved it out, still trying to go in a torrential rainstorm. I don’t know who said “run,” but everyone started running. I don’t even know—me and my friend. I don’t know what two guys were doing at a Diana Ross concert, but [Laughs] anyway, I think we was already in the city, okay? We slid, got up and kept running to the train. source
Is Jay-Z the father of Evan Ross? Probably not but who cares I think it’s funny.
Look like Jay-Z got sick of all the pissed off employees and other problems with is 40/40 club in sin city.
Less than nine months after opening the Vegas version of his 40/40 Club in the Palazzo, Jay-Z has sold the joint for an undisclosed amount.
He’s not out of the restaurant business yet, he plans on opening up new 40/40 clubs in Chicago, Tokyo and Macau. The Vegas 40/40 will be turned into a bar.
There hasn’t been anything this big since the I get money remix. Kayne West, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and TI all on the same track. I love it rappers work together. Although I think someone on this track took a jab at another rapper on this track… I still love it. Sharper than a swagger dagger all metal ~ Lil Wayne but that still doesn’t top my new slogan – How does it feel to wake up and be the sh!t & the Urine.

Although it’s unclear if they will produce the entire album, Kanye West and Dion “No I.D.” Wilson are hard at work making tracks for Jay-Z’s “Blueprint 3,” according to West’s management.

Remember back in the day when one producer would do an artist whole album? [Am I showing my age?] Well Jay-Z has picked Kanye to produce most of his Blueprint 3 album. I’ve actually knew about this like 3 weeks ago but I was told I couldn’t say anything about it. Thats one of the downfalls of being a blogger. Out of all the stuff you know, you can only write about 20% of it. And Jocking Jay-Z will be “leaked” as soon as Jay drops the 3rd verse on the track.
