Since Girls Hate Cute Girls… Here’s Cassie

The internet is going nuts over Cassie’s new joint f. Nicki Minaj titled “F*ck You Silly” but the track doesn’t really do anything for me. I’m more concerned with why women hate on Cassie and why God made her so darn beautiful. In an interview w/ DJ Booth she explains how being pretty is so hard, and what exactly it means to be an Official girl and more.
Cassie On Being Cuter Than The Rest Of The World: “I think.. I would never go out there and say, “I’m oh-so-good looking, and that’s why people give me a hard time,” but I think for anybody that is attractive it can be harder sometimes. I don’t necessarily think that’s my situation; I think I’ve been in the music industry and in the entertainment industry long enough for people to, maybe not see past it, but just give me that second chance. I wouldn’t be working on this second album without them giving me that.
Cassie On Chilling: “Wow, I haven’t really had spare time in a long time, but I hang out with my girlfriends, go out, get dinner, sit at home watching movies – I’m a homebody, really.”
Cassie On Why Women Need Titles: “I don’t know if it’s necessarily a title – that’s definitely a translation of “Official Girl,” for some women out there – but it’s about being the only one. I think that’s more or less where I was going with the video, and the song, saying that I won’t play side-girl, I won’t play second girl.”
Cassie is a beautiful girl and if anyone says different they hatin. plain and simple. lol. but i do agree with her saying sometimes its hard for an attractive person. i believe it is. oh no woes of a pretty girl…doesnt make sense huh…but its true you sometimes have to prove 1. you are more than a pretty face 2. get placed in the category of “oh no she think she look better than us” or “she think she cute” 3. having to prove yourself prove you do have a personality..ppl always believe they know who u are…
back to Cassie…her song doesnt do anything for me..her 1st single “me&u” and the 2nd single “long way 2 go” from her 1st album even I even like “it must be love” from her recent album..well the remix..but the recent single w. Nikki Minaj dont like it..even official girl was better than this
I think cassie is a pretty girl too but i don’t think that’s why people hate on her. I think people hate on her b/c they wonder how someone so talentless could get a record deal and then they assume that the only way was through f*ckin diddy. But, it’s obvious that rumor is true b/c they’re always together. I mean she must be doin somethin right if she still has a record deal and is the least selling artist of all time.

She can hold a note. I’ve liked a few of her songs, and she is attractive and yes it can be both a gift & a curse either people love you or they hate you. Just because someone’s attractive doesn’t mean they cannot be a well rounded person. Its been my observation the less attractive seem to boast about themselves more and judge others based on looks more. If you call someone ugly, you’re ugly. A true beauty is inside and out.

IM sorry but lets not sit there and try to wrap every girl in ONE plastic bubble but not want men to be clumped together in a nutshell.. Every girl is different and dont hate on the next female for being attractive.. I think Cassie is out of the ordinary beautiful and I dont know who hates on her so please let me know cuz Im lost personally
Hmm.. Woman do hate on other women BUT Cassie has nothing to offer as a music artist.
Now on the modeling front, She is gorgeous.
and this piece of Sh*t song, I just went off on NB about it because it’s trash. I didn’t even listen, i just read the lyrics and I just got upset. These generic a** entertainers, serving the people SLOP!!
Nonetheless, Pretty girl, nice model. Stay away from music, stop funking up the place! It’s already a sinking ship! SMH
Dear Cassie,
No one is giving you a hard time because you are beautiful. People are giving you a hard time because you don’t sing very well and your dance skills are questionable. You have released one mediocre song after another and embarrassed yourself in live performances and attributed it to nerves. If we are to believe what has been said about “the industry”, we know that it is extremely cut throat. If you knew you were afraid of performing live, you should have worked that out prior to making your national television debut.
The basis of what I’m trying to say is this: You’re beautiful and you will always be, but you can’t hand people junk and expect it to be well received. It doesn’t work that way.My suggestion to you would be to stick to modeling. You can go far!

hating on Cassie? i think not. Cassie’s not even a blip on the radar. maybe if she would go into the studio and actually SING a damn song, i would care about her. since that’s not going to happen… she can keep it moving. and as far as being given a “hard time” because you’re attractive… gimme a break. i’m attractive and have been all my life, lol. no one gives me a hard time. it’s all about your personality and how you handle yourself. i treat people the way i want to be treated, period. generally, that diffuses all tension…
