So if you’re wondering why that girl won’t stop blowing up your phone, or why that guy keep showing up at your house at all hours of the night, this might shed some light on things.
HAVING sex without a condom is good for your mental health, according to controversial research conducted by a leading Scottish psychologist.
Professor Stuart Brody concludes that unprotected heterosexual sex can significantly boost men and women’s mental wellbeing.
Using a measure of psychological health developed in Canada, Mr Brody concluded that condom use was associated with members of the sample who exhibited problems dealing with stress.
Those that had unprotected sex appeared to be able to deal with stress in a more mature way by taking effective action. They also had better mental health.
“The more often people are using condoms independent of age, independent of the nature of their relationship, the greater use of immature defence mechanisms against stress.
“In contrast, the more often they have sex without condoms, the better their mental health and the more mature their mechanisms.” Source

um… I think they should've taken the research grant & invested it in AIDS research instead. Foolishness.
that said… when I've skipped the condoms CHILD… I can see why people risk it. Nothing beats some skin to skin action… but I wouldn't say it made me less crazy.

Most men lke unprotected sex, but what's greater to you, your mental health or your total health?
Yeah that's the thing, skin on skin is so much better than condom sex… I had to make a rationalization that if i wear a condom I'll go a lot longer and please her more than if i dont… but its so tempting to go in… but i love my life too much.

Well unprotected sex is only bad if you're sleeping w/ someone who has something… as bad as that might sound it's the truth. If the person doesn't have anything it's one of the best things in the world. I just wish things were a lot more clear.

the reason i say this is simple there are teens and pretens having unprotected sex and contributing to the rise of stds and other health issues. the reason i say relationship status is simple if you and your partner for LIFE .. The person you married stood before god and pledged a devoted life have decided to engage in unprotected sex than that your choice. I've been with the same woman for the past 22 yrs and havent used a condom in 29 yrs. I don't see any difference in sexual stamina with or without a condom. You go in to please your partner so you wait your turn–condom or no condom.
The psychologist in me wants to see this 'research'. I think its coming to some odd conclusions.
I mean yes, raw sex feels sooo good. but I found it more stressful because I was always wondering in the back of my mind, is this risk really worth my health.
Then i got more emotionally stressed out about the sex because how many strings are attached to it.
Good protected sex though? It has been chicken soup for my soul
