Dude, how is she being overexposed when there's no videos yet, no single on the radio yet, nothing that even suggests she's on the marketing campaign for an album yet? She's still on the COME-UP! I'm sensing some bias here---maybe due to the leader of the Light Skin invasion---so give the sister a break! You can say this AFTER she gets a video on MTV, BET & Youtube, AFTER a single blows.

And over exposed on the blogs ! in the sense that she DOESNT have a video or radio play, yet she still has out interviews and videos on blogs all the time. Its like im getting tired of seeing her talk about what shes doing instead of seeing some substance behind it. There's nothing sexist about that.

But, what does "overexposure" on BLOGS mean? She has 3 mixtapes out right now, which is why she's getting a little press...just like Flake! So singling her out without even hearing the music to even understand why she's getting press, YET the Flake can get 10 posts without so much as a blink sounds like bias to me.

This girl is nowhere close to "overexposure on blogs" when cats are posting about Flake's choice of cereal at this point. It would make more sense to post about your reaction to her music to even answer the underlying question as to why she's even getting this much press. Claiming "overexposure on blogs" is the easy way out.

SUCKS. She needs to get her IQ up and stop talking about the same tired shit that all female rappers (with the exception of a few ie Lil Mama) talk about. I vote NO!

Oh, so you're including Jean Grae, Tiye Phoenix, Eternia, Lauryn Hill, MC Lyte, Bahamadia, and Rah Digga in that group? BLOGGING allow me and my writers to state our opinions about stuff and you know what... it's my blog i don't have to be grammatically correct politically correct or correct for that matter. I write what i want in my web log. a log of my thoughts which is featured on the web. If you get your journalism or search for your journalism on blogs... you lost. Read the paper pick up a magazine. but honestly your favorite blogger might right for that magazine as well.

And what does any of that have to with this? Why should I care about any of that? I said the "I'm just a blogger" thing because tons of cats use that as an excuse for poor reporting, instigation, and just overall pointless writing.

I have no idea why you'd want to point out all this other stuff that has nothing to do with me and writers who don't do their homework.

OK google Nicki Minaj it brings up over 790,000 results from someone i couldn't name one song from... blog search her she has 50,000 in the last week. Name a song of hers...

I don't get why no one has heard of Nicki .. she's been on the come up (as far as being commercial as opposed to just underground) for a mad long time now -- idk, maybe its just me, but I like her music. I also like the way she thinks too .. Like--I thought that whole "Nicki Lewinski" deal was o.d, and completely took it to mean something different (like most peeps, i guess).. until I heard her explain that ish in an interview..
& idk, I'm a big fan & have been for a while now. She's trying to get her name out there though, but its tough obviously, if she is literally everywhere (Birthday Bash, on MTV, on BET, on Dr. Jays new ad campaign, VladTV, etc, etc, not to mention on a ridiculous amount of remixes & mixtapes) & people STILL don't even know ANY of her songs.

That being said, I understand how you could think of it as 'overexposure' --when she's not even that big.
