Fabolous- Throw It In The Bag (Video) x It’s My Time
FAB is dropping videos like it’s going out of style… or is it? I think the music channels (MTV, BET) singlehandedly killed the popularity of Music Videos. Music videos used to be the highlight of making a song, the artist on television not only getting his/her music to the world but their face too, giving their music a visual was a plus! Now you have to be up really early in the morning to catch a music video on MTV, or you have to sit through Rocsi and Terrence’s antics to see a video for 5 seconds on BET. They replaced Music videos with Reality Shows and those are quickly fading. I think music videos can be revived if new creativity is embraced, push aside the butt-neked hoes and add something else…but the chances of that are slim to none…where there are rappers, there are females all too willing to be naked.

Videos don't even interest me much anymore because like you said, it's such a hassle to watch them. Back in the day, videos used to be on ALL the time and Saturday mornings/afternoons were when you could just chill around the house and watch all the new videos on the countdowns. I hardly ever see any of that anymore…hopefully they'll come back strong one day soon.
I agree. I think there are a lot of problems, including shortening attention spans. I clicked the video and then got bored (probably speaks to the cliche'dness of the vid) and then proceeded to check my mail while listening to the song. I guess new creativity would help because i had no desire to spend three minutes of my life watching random shine spots on cell phones and then Fab-o in a dark room with lights on the walls. *yawn*
