now normally i can agree with you, i haven't actually listened to the track cuz i'm at work, but having both amerie's cd and mixtape i must say SHE CAN ACTUALLY SING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- channeling keri and j-lo and bey as far as following the pack right now because she's under-appreciated is maybe something i can agree with; but her, fantasia, chrisette, and a few others sprinkled here and there are REALLY un-appreciated in the music industry, pick up her 1st and 2nd cd and you'll understand where i'm coming from.

I like Amerie, I'm not saying I don't. But if you listen to the track you'll think its a JLo track, then you'll think its a Keri HIlson track, then you might think its a Beyonce track, it doesn't sound like Amerie, at all.

Actually Amerie has a raspy voice , sounds kind of like an early Mary J. Blige.

Never have been a die hard Amerie fan. She is definitely not winning me over with this song either. LOL

I must agree with you on the channeling of her inner "J Lo". It is not working for her at all. She sorta sounds like a splash C Milian.
