Kelis x Nas: Sex Tapes + Paternity Tests

If you didn’t know, Kelis has filed for divorce from Nas. I can’t help to say that I feel that this is best for Nas. While I don’t know him, I get a feeling that Nas is a good dude and well, Kelis cheated on him. With another rapper nonetheless. In an effort to put be the premiere site for information about your favorite celebrity’s sex life, Kelis slept with Ruff Ryder exile Infared.

You’ve heard the rumor of the sex tape well my sources have told me of a drunk Kelis sleeping with this rapper while he talked shit about Nas, and filmed it. He filmed his penis in her mouth and all. Now don’t get me wrong I’m all for a video record during sex, but this is just not something you do if you’re a married woman having sex with another man who is NOT your husband. That is complete disrespect. Honestly I’ll be surprise if the baby even belongs to Nas.

I saw a statistic which said that 3 out of 5 men are raising kids that are not theirs, and most of them don’t even know it. It’s sad, and yet we will bash a man for not taking care of his children.

The fact that so many women put kids on a guy and they have no clue, who is the real father. You can watch Maury and see female after female who will bring multiple men on the show in order to find out who fathered their offspring. Offspring from a tainted womb.

Now while I don’t know the particulars of the Nas and Kelis break up, I do know that all too often men get the short end of the stick. Take Lyfe’s song Hypothetical. He sings of cheating on him, and she sings about the kid not being his. That’s know comparison. This is why there is a double standard in the world, because female multiple like Gremlins when you put water on them.

I’m disgusted. When I was younger my very first experience with fatherhood was a very similar case. All my boys knew my chick was sleeping with a dude I knew, I didn’t. She went to the prom with this guy, with my baby in her stomach. I whipped his ass and she jumped in the fight hitting on me.

I felt like I wanted to die. Looking back I’m thrilled she didn’t birth that child. I look at her life now and I would probably kill myself if she was my baby mother. We as a people need to be more responsible when it comes to sex, love, marriage and child birth. But, what can we do to make this message common practice in the hood. My writer 1AM said it best.

100 outbreaks of Swine Flu, and people walk around in mask. Millions of cases of HIV and “You are not the father” and people still won’t wear condoms.

    Infrared was one of Ruff Ryders early acts you would hear on their compilation albums. I think he made it to a DMX album but that was it, lol. I heard about the tape, too, and was waiting for Kelis to come out and debunk it, but she never said a word about it, so...I guess she didn't give a fuck, which is no kind of mentality for a marriage. I'm not gonna side with Nas, necessarily either, who knows if he was doing his dirt too or not cuz Kelis retracted the inital allegations behind the divorce filing...probably because of the tape, lol. Maybe Nas said he would get over it and convinced her that things were moving forward and this cat started smashing women on the humble anyway out of bitterness. Who knows.

    Yo, you are so right man. People in general have to be a little more selective and deliberate in choosing their partners. I'm recently married, and I reflected on the women in my past and tried to imagine for a moment what it would have been like if I had gotten any of them pregnant before things fell apart and felt so damn LUCKY.

    That is so NOT Kelis. Who knows what really happened, it's all speculation. I read somewhere else where "sources," said she got sick of his cheating ways and verbal abuse. So as I said before, pure speculation. In any case it's sad because she's seven months pregnant.

Men need to step up and be leaders and treat womenas well as themselves with respect and love and sistas...oh man...we really need to respect and love ourselves and our brothas and RAISE OUR KIDS! As for those who are married and the men are forced to pay child support for kids who aren't theirs...THAT'S THE FUC*ED UP COURT SYSTEM!! I'll NEVER understand how men are forced to pay for kids that aren't theirs just bcuz their married. but then again...didn't Guiliani move in (or attempt to move in) his mistress--into his and wife's crib??? so men are just as janky.

    The men who end up in this situation are just as much at fault as the women...

    We need to start examining more closely the character of the people we crawl into bed with. People are so thirsty for relationships and/or sex that they overlook the obvious and end up in situations that negatively affect the rest of their lives either with children they never wanted and can't care for, a "co-parent" they didn't want to be inextricably tied to forever or a disease they can't get rid of.

    Love you blog, but I think your statistics are just a bit off. 3 out of 5 would put it @ damn near 60% of men out there raising other guys kids and not knowing it. The number, according to Men's Health magazine is closer to 3.8%. However this still translates to over 1000000 guys out there providing support for kids that they have no obligation to. The article also goes on to elucidate on the fact that guys have no little to no recourse on the matter (it shows that one guy was forced to pay support by the courts even though it was proven that the child was not his). The URL is too long to post, but Google "Are you raising another man's child?" and it should be the first entry that pops up. Keep up the good work with the thoughtful topics.

    I just read that article and OMG!

    I still believe people always give you an indication of who they really are but I feel really bad for the men in that article, some of these guys were clearly blindsided. Men and women can both exhibit some abhorrent behavior at times but when it comes to issues and questions of paternity men are clearly at a disadvantage - and it's a lose/lose situation for them cause if they go around demanding paternity tests at birth in an otherwise healthy relationship they risk damaging a relationship where things may be just fine

    but as far as guys not raising their own kids and women laying about the father, that is a whole different ball game.
    Yes, they are some effed up people out here, both men and women. The man can ask for a paternity test before signing a birth certificate, so if he signed with out asking then that is on him, also if he chose to sleep with a trifling chick that is also on him.
    As far as the women goes, I do not know any sane women out there that would get knocked up on purpose and want to raise a child solo just for a few bucks. Being a mother is not a part time duty, nor is it easy. So, a few bucks is not worth the hard work it is to raise a child solo...

    I dont feel like a woman is necessarily a whore because she cheats on her man, and yes i know its cliche' but niggas do it all the time.Everybody cheats for different reasons.On the flip side, when a child is involved all that man vs. woman shit should go out the door.Alot of women feel like they cant come clean because they dont wanna take a chance on losin this nigga but they took that chance when they cheated.Now its time to be a woman and let the man know of other possibilities and if he is truly a man he will stick around for the results and father his child regardless.
