Yall are right, I caught this season on MTB4 in one day and I was taken back by;
1. How broke they are (and the fact Diddy allowed that to be shown on the show, makes him look bad)
2. All the bitchassness that took place during the taping (Lord knows how much shit went down off camera)
3. How boring focusing on Day 26 and Donny (sort of) for a whole season really is.

This season wasn't even needed and it made them look bad.
That Angela Yee interview could have been taken differently if we didn't know so much about them already, I agree!

and Diddy is making ANOTHER all girl group??? WTFF

yeah i was surprised that Diddy let that it be shown how broke they really are. Because i would have thought that Diddy took good care of them.

And all the fights that went down was OVERKILL! i'm sure men fight but over and over like they did and Que with his foolishness. It doesnt take away from their music but their overall image is tainted now. At least in my opinion

Too much televised exposure. They've killed any mystery the group might have had to retain long-term interest. Just like all of Diddy's other groups, they're short-term money, lol. No Bad Boy act has ever made it to 3 albums...except Diddy.

yeah this last season of MTB hurt them tremendously! Instead of liking them for their music. My dislike for the bitchassness somewhat too over. This album is a great album but it's not better than the first IMO.

Then they go on the radio talking bout eating ass and stuff. *sigh* If i were there publicist i'd have them doing major charity work. to get them back on the good side of the scale. Girls swoon for that stuff. I know I do.

While the promotion they got from the show was helpful; but the fact Bitchassness is one of the 1st words that come up when you think about Day 26 instead of the fact they are really talented singers is going to be their downfall. As far as the production goes, they need to leave that to the professionals; they make Souljah Boy sound like Primo. lol

I agree. I was very much excited about this new album because I really really really liked the last one. I was very much dissapointed. I only like a few songs.

I didn't watch the show this year but I do follow Que on twitter and while his tweets are rather humorous I found him to be seriously lacking intelligence and common sense.

What do you mean by this? They didn't produce anything on the album. Only wrote and played A&R on a few songs.

I love them and trust they need MTB so it only helped them.The new cd took awhile to get into but now i love it.

I meant there is too much production work on their songs, they need to showcase their voices rather then showcase the producer who is making the song.

It is true - this sophomore album doesn't make u move as much as the first - but I still love them - always

Actually I love their new cd...i think it's better than the last one...especially "One Night Only" like that makes the panties come off, unfortunately it wasn't on the cd, but it's a bonus track and I just happened to find it online...I will say they are the most talented group since 112 and Jagged Edge, they harmonize very well and it's rare that you find a group where all singers can sing lead!

However, I am very disatisfied with their new album...there are a couple of quality songs....but seems very forced and mondane. I much concur with your sentiments about it.
