Every now and then you come across someone with a personality so amazing that they will leave a lasting impression. An impression so strong that even hours after the two of you spoke, chatted or even sent an email it still leaves you thinking. This is the case here. Allow me to introduce you to Shaneil. I had the chance to interview her for blogxilla.com check it out under the cut.

If you could make love anywhere in the world where would it be?
On top of the moon in the arms of a man that I love and adore

Was your first time enjoyable?
It was with my best guy friend at the time so yeah and it wasnt rushed at all

What was the most fun you had during a photoshoot?
My manager was acting as my fan boy and water boy and the photographer was getting hot and bothered saying it was the best shoot he had ever done lol- The shoot lasted 5 hours and we had over 1000 pictures

If you where michelle Obama for a day what would you tell young girls?
Stay in school, dont rush life and think before you act

Can you cook? What was the last thing you made?
Yes I can, I made fried chicken, home made macorni and cheese and twice baked potatoes-My new hobby is baking now, when I do decide to get married I plan on being the best woman in the world!!!

Dessert or another drink?
Another drink-I dont eat too many sweets

Do you go Dutch?
I always expect to go dutch and whatever happens at the end happens-I dont mind paying for a guy either just FYI

When was the last time you treated a man to something?
Lol. Im a treat in itself! But as far as a date-Im not really dating at the moment, every now and then someone slips through the cracks though and they are a man’s man and wouldnt let me pay although I offered, which flattered me but really I couldve got it but Im not one to argue haha

Have you ever made a store run?
IDK what that means-I am from Oregon

What was the last thing you googled?
Blue Ridge Cabins in the mountains-A nice little getaway for myself

Have you ever googled a guy? If so what did you find?
I did and found he was an ex conn for Insurance fraud in a firm that he worked for-SCARY

Have you ever slept with a celebrity? Describe it in a few sentences

Who sleeps in the wet spot?
If im in a relationship-whoevers side that is. If Im not- no damn body because they get kicked out, Im not cooking breakfast in the morning lol

Where are you on the road of life?
Im getting ready to go back to school and finish my last 2 years once I get my residency here in Atlanta. I dont see myself settling down anytime soon unless someone just comes out of no where and swoops me up-Im in no rush, on God’s time. Looking to be established as a model by summer of 2009. But they say write your plan in pencil so Im going with the flow :)

    So you have to be a bird to expect a man to pay? It's one thing to be prepared to go dutch, but if you have to expect it- might want to re-evaluate your choices in who you're going on dates with. I'm all for taking care of the check- but not on the first date sheesh! IMO this type of thinking only adds to the decline of the price of…nevermind that’s for a different post lol. I get what she saying...but let's not all get excited like this is what's hot in 09.

    I dont see anything wrong with EXPECTING to go dutch on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd date. It just shows that every man she date, she not looking to have a relationship with unlike some women. If he pays for the first date and she pay for the second, does that make him a good man or a man she should want to know better? If so, some of yall have low standards and may need to re-evaluate yourself. Who cares who pays. Nothing beats a good time. Enjoy yourself!!     Well let me start by saying that I don't feel that expecting a man to pay for a 1st date means you want to take long walks on the beach and have a relationship with him....where you got that idea I'm not sure. I also don't remember saying that if he pays he's automatically a good man. My point is if EVERYtime you go out, you expect to pay- it's a problem. Also I wasn't beating up on the young lady in the interview, I was upset that those of us who were brought up to let a man do the courting (some of y'all need to add that word to your vocabulary) were called birds. Taking care of yourself is paying your on bills not picking up a check at a restaurant lol. (No- I'm not saying that she does not pay her own bills so please don’t try and read between the lines)

    Thank you Ms. Lili, I treat every woman the way I would want someone to treat my mother and my sister. That is how I was raised. Maybe they were not brought up that way. I have two older brothers and we all treat women that way. That is just what we were taught to do. Hopefully the brothers who commented first will change their ways in regards to their dating etiquette. Have a good day Ms. Lili.

    So, this chick is now the epitome of woman b.c she'll pay on the 1st date. *Kissteeth* and now me and every woman like me is a bird b/c she doesn't pay on a 1st date. Listen Males have got to grow into MEN. Chivalry seems to be Dead and Stinking if Males can call Women birds so quick fast in a hurry. Mi rahtid. I don't beg a man for dinner but it would behoove him to pay, especially if he asked me out. C'mon if all your doing is chasing tail that's the only reason why a Male would want to go Dutch. A Man can tell when a Woman is trying to just "get a quick meal and dash" vs Courting to get to know a worthy woman.

  • Not sure what all the hype is... If two people wanna enjoy time together who cares who picks up the tab. Independent Queen or not, it's about the fun of getting together. Me and my girl have been out many times and offered to pay the tab. Most of the time the guys picked up the tab in the end. They said that it was nice that we were bold enough to step out on our own note and not depend on a Man to take care of everything. There are some really genuine Men out there that the don't want to be used no more than we want to be. Bump the tab...enjoy the spirit of good company.

    It depends on who asks who. If I am inviting I am going to pay. If a woman asks me she usually pays. I have female friends who treat me when I am short of funds cause they know i will take care of the next one.
  • I'm a child-hood friend so my opinion is biased but I've always been impressed w/ this chick. She's surprisingly grounded for someone that is so used to being the center of attention.     To the lady in the interview, I don't think folks were really commenting on your interview soley. No one said that YOU called them a bird, we are referring to the only guy that said that women that want men to pay are birds. That is it. I know its your interview, but this is a blog, so folks are going to express however they feel and it might not have anything to do with YOU. Your interview was just playing devils advocate and it openend up dialog, thats all. If your going to do interviews, you can't take stuff too personally.

    But the price of p*ssy is down because chicks want to play the man role, and men LOVE it! If I was a man, i would call chicks that have basic standards, birds too, because they making me work hard for the p*ssy and if I was a grimey ass nigga I would HATE that lol.

I think she meant more as in if the guy doesn't turn out to be decent and pulls a "I forgot my wallet" move then she has her own money to pay her share.
