Leave: If you feel yourself getting too angry simple leave the environment until the both of you have calmed down. Especially if you don’t want to have your girls bruised and battered face on TMZ for the whole world to see. I kid, I kid.

Look Her In The Eyes: You know how they say if you’re every attacked by a wild animal to look it in the eyes before it bites your head off? Well its the same thing with a woman, if she’s getting heated look her in the eyes, it will tell her you’re paying attention to her beef. If you avoid eye contact it sends a message that you don’t want to have a fight making her feel like you do not give a flying flick. She will just get even more angry.

Control The Flow: A lot of arguments involve mud slinging, curse words and name calling. Which can in turn cause both parties to lose their cool and have a simple misunderstanding ending uglier than the weird kid who used to pick boogies in science class. So a way to control that is the ask questions during the argument, see why she feels that way and ask genuine questions to come to an agreement and both of you will sleep better at night.

Drive Time: The best thing you can do during an argument is allow it to settle down and make a date to discuss the issue. Generally in a situation where both parties can’t walk away from the discussion. A long walk or a car ride is always good. Because it’s just the two of you and there is no escape and no one wants to be the couple in the car engaged in a shouting match.

What are some ways you calm the situation during an argument?

say no to the long drive ur ass be done came up missing...
  • Knowing how I am, I'd probably dip and come back when things have calmed down. I'd only take being fussed at or yelled at for so long until I start doing the same thing
  • I cant stand it when men stay cool..Makes me think they got something up their sleaves!

I would absolutely hate if my SO walked out on me even though I try to walk away he always pulls me back...But if he did it, I would be so livid... It happened Sunday to be exact. I tried to walk out of the bathroom and he pulled me back... but when he walked out AND cut the light off, I wanted to kick him in the back of his knee caps... so being cool is always perfect.

Amendment. I do NOT I repeat I do NOT, do the loud arguing and screaming. That is just not worth it at the end of the day. I am always calm. I do not allow a man to get me that riled up. Because 9 out of 10 times we can take that time to learn about what is making each other mad, come to a conclusion and learn from it and grow. I have never been the arguing type.

And besides it makes you look old to do all of that arguing.

I'm not into arguing and drama (who really is now-a-days though) but I can't STAND for a man to walk out on me! I'm all for saying what you have to say (cus we both know we aren't going to come to an agreement) and then going our seperate ways for the time being.

    LMAO! at the Maury example.

im not the arguing, fighting kind of woman.
a nigga fuck up, and i have something better up my sleeve
  • It was all good until you said go for a long car ride.
No, no especially if ole girl is the one rolling. If mister wasn't following steps 1-car ride.... consider his face on the milk carton or in one hell of a car crash. You don't want an angry woman behind the wheel of a car. Not safe for the passengers or other drivers. Yet if she agreed to the car ride probably means she's somewhat calmed but speaking from experience could be a trap..lol.
    Good points for sure.
