I think it’s pathetic when women can’t cook a simple meal for themselves. I’ve been in the kitchen with granmoms since I was seven, and the skill wasn’t learn to impress a man. It was learned so that one day I would be able to take care of myself and my future children. I don’t think its necessary for women to be top chef’s but they should at least be knowledgeable in the kitchen. At the same time, I think it’s important for men to adhere to masculine roles. I’ve met some kneegros that didn’t even want to take out the trash….unacceptable.

I agree with this from start to finish. My mom always told me that learning to cook is an essential for yourself and for your man. Really no man wants a woman that cant even make rice on the stove. And a man will always appreciate his woman more if he’s coming home from a hard day of work and he smells nothing but good aromas from the kitchen; u might just get u some that night but its also good for woman to know how to cook for them to survive and just incase one night u find ur man cheating , u can cook a big pot of something in red sauce! lol

Agreed, a lot of women can’t cook. I’m the oldest of 6 girls and I’m the only 1 that can cook a meal that requires more than just boiling water. Even though I can throw down, I would like a man that can cook for me too ::pouts:: It’s nice when a woman knows how to cook, but it’s sexy as hell when a man knows his way around the kitchen as well. I’m teaching my brothers at a young age how to get their kitchen-swagger game up.

Well I’ll put it like this, there are a lot of women who can cook & dont . Simply because some dudes ain’t worth wooing with our culinary prowess, also some of us are trying to get to a part of you, but it ain’t your heart, think a little lower these days about the fun and if you’re not the one we’re looking to settle down with, you get no culinary love darling!

You are picking the wrong women but I am thankful that you qualified that statement by saying that 75% that you met and not women in general. My ma and grandma wouldn't have allowed me to not learn what to do in the kitchen but you got to be special for me to cook for you.

Maybe you should learn (only if you don't know ) and work with the ladies because like the poster said there is nothing sessier than a man who can cook.

Both myself and my older brother know how to cook. My Mum always a man should know how to cook that way he's not dependent on a woman to cook for him. I feel you should know to cook just to feed yourself at lease.
