That is how it is supposed to be. When you take the time to make yourself
vulnerable to another person you will get emotional. That is the beauty of
poetry. It enables you to get in touch with feelings deep down inside that
one might not express otherwise. I also apologize for the tardiness of my
response. Poetry is a beautiful thing. If I would've seen I probably
would've gotten emotional too. That's right I said it. I am secure with my
emotionality! SMILE!

yea. when you take the time to write for someone its so intimate and heartfelt. even if it sounds goofy, its still “REAL” u know? recently on wifesway the new wife made the old meany farmer husband write a love poem in appreciation of everything his wife does and he broke down…. his own words moved him in such a way that he couldn't even help but lose it a lil bit…. i liked ta CRIED ma dayum self watchin it!

what isnt to love about a man expressing himeslf ro one who he loves…likes…whatever! I recently had a discussion with my roomate about this…how we dont write anymore…no love letters…no peoms…no cute little post-its…its all about text and email now…I promise you if you did write something like this to me..and the do the poem…you wouldnt be getting any slleep at home that night…

Wow that's a nice poem. Love poems are definetly appreciated by me. I'd rather a love poem that came from the heart than something you bought like flowers, candy, clothes, shoes because that's too easy, tell me how you really feel cuz anyone can go to the store and bought me what you did. What about letters? I like those too.

Love poems remove all of our issues and focus on what is most important. The inexhaustible possibilities of Love. Being that I write, I am very appreciative of poetic expressions. It means more when you take the time to prepare a poem for someone. It is a personal and intimate act when you open yourself up to someone and express your deepest heartfelt feelings for them to read. I agree with you whole heartedly Ms. Gangstasweet.
