I'll give you that a partime job can be had after the kid starts school, but nothing grand like a career...

Do you realize what it takes to run a home without outside help? I tried it for 6 months after my daughter was born and her older sister was in kindergarten and it was WORK.

Stuff needs to be cleaned everyday, there's cooking everyday, food shopping for that cooking, random household errands for the home AND working parent, school obligations (PTA, etc). It's WORK!!

Even with both in school right now, there are not enough hours in the day to get things done... I'm just sayin...

if you raiseN a kid at home for 20 yrs, there's somethN wrong… When they are 5 they start school. what do you do for those 8 hrs, for 13yrs?

mj, for example, worked hard for his money, while juanita was getting mani`s and pedi`s, buying expensive clothing, etc...and as someone said mentioned, she probably had to rarely do shit because of tha maids, cooks, etc, that they had

she isn`t ENTITLED to shit, but it sucks how tha system works

these ballers and rich ppl have it tough sometimes, cuz when these women turn their Gold Digging senses (like Spidey senses) on, these men are in for a hell of a ride!

She should be entitled to NOTHING b/c she is just his “girlfriend” or “jumpoff” which ever he wants to call her….

If she “MEANT” anything to him then she would have a ring on her finger already, but she doesn't so…….”NO” lol

Even if she helped him get to where he is….yeah she deserves something but not half…maybe going on trips, getting a couple of stacks as allowance etc…but not half until she's wifey!…

Eddie Murphy cleared the air on this one in the movie “Raw” & so did Martin Lawrence in “RunTelDat.” He saw the cover of a magazine with Johnny Carson on it. His ex-wife won the divorce settlement case & she was awarded some large sum of money. Eddie said that if the two built $300,000,000, then she is w/o a doubt entitled to half. However, when the two met Johnny was already a millionaire therefore she was entitled to her original bagful of clothes. Only in the state of California are women AUTOMATICALLY AWARDED half the marital assets with a chance to work on their husband's other half. I personally think a woman should get half if she was a TRUE HOUSEWIFE who kept the house up while her husband worked. If she's one of these celebrity-like housewives who get maids to do all the housework & nannies for the children while reclining at the spa ALL DAY, then she deserves some training in the real world by living on a budget comprised of what she can earn.
