A Few Things Women Should Know When Faking It

Recently Keri Hilson sat down with Complex Magazine and talked about relationships, lying and what happens to a person’s sex life when you move in with your lover. One thing that stuck out to me was her thoughts on faking it.

Men say: A woman’s never faked it with me. If she did, I’d know.

Keri Hilson says: Oh, lord! Men think they know if we’re faking it, but they have no idea. [Laughs.] I know girls who are really good at it, and the men have no clue. Sometimes you have to feed the male ego.

I think there is a few things that women should know when it comes to faking it.

I don’t care if you’re faking it or not, please believe my ego does not need to be boosted.

Yeah it sounds good, but honestly if you’re weren’t spending so much time fake oohing and ahhing maybe you would be able to relax and bust one yourself

He probably knew he wasn’t going to please you in the first place

If you’re not my girl/wife/or boo, I don’t give a flying feather if you climax or not

I asked a few of my twitter friends why women fake it in the bedroom. Here is what they had to say.

    sapphirachanel – women fake orgasms bc the guy/girl is no good at it and they want it to be over, or fake it to help the person’s ego, or bc they want to finish having sex (for various reasons) or because they never actually “O”, but know it’s expected.
    Tay Tay – For different reasons, either we wanna hurry & get it over with bcuz it something we really didnt want to do in the first place, or becuz we really care about our guy’s feelings believe or not.
    StyleRazzi – to help the man retain his ego!! thinking that he “kilt” it while she’s laid back thinking of what she has to do tomorrow!!!
    SavvyFatty – The same reason men say “I LOVE YOU” w/o meaning it; so they can get something they want. Women want to get THE FUCK OUTTA THERE!
    EsAyKay – because they are dumb, thats the dumbest ish ever.

    In all honesty, I used to fake it most of the time because for me it takes so much more to orgasm from intercourse than it does from clitoral stimulation. And it can't just be any type of clitoral stimulation, it has to be in a certain direction, at a certain pace, and my legs have to be a certain way :) . I have been in a few relationships and have had more than a few parteners. I'm very liberated sexually and have tried everything and will try almost anything once. Often times, I would focus on pleasing my man so much and would please myself afterwards. Trust me, I know how to concentrate and bust one, but again its much easier when no one else is involved. I will say that I developed a deeper love for my guy now because during one episode, he actually reached under me and rubbed it just right while hitting it from the back, and that was the first time anyone had done that before. I felt safe enough to share that with him, and now he will wait to come as long as it takes me to, but again like Xilla said, a guy just has to give a fck about you before you can be so honest with him. Otherwise your honesty may get you the "what's wrong with you" look or the "you have to concentrate" speech, and trust me, women really don't wanna hear that sht... just honestly speaking!

I swear you just detailed my whole situation! this blog is GRRRREAT! lol I've only obtained the Oprah[large and satifyling generous amount of pleasure from giving] once from intercourse. otherwise I need head/clitorial aerobics etc. I fake it because I rarely have sex with someone i'm attracted to. 99% of the time i'm ready for it to be over so I can watch desperate, do some work, or handle some real business.     It's not just about clitoral stimulation. Yea that's nice and all, however, to be able to come from a man hitting your spot is where it's at. I can get my rocks off playing with myself.That's no prob. The more explosive climax comes from him being inside of me. He'll feel my walls contract and the juices flow.

    So, with that said. I feel that a man doesn't know when a woman is faking it *IF* he hasn't made her come before. When you learn what a woman does when she's at that point you do know.

    My reason on why females fake it is not because we dont want sex...but its like we are not feeling it in the middle and are ready to be over...we think moaning and screaming will get men to climax quicker...Thats just my honest statement. If he is not hitting the spot that he's suppose to hit to take you there it would be in your best interest to help guide the brother.     HonestlySpeaking & SassyScorpio hit the nail with me. I've been on so many BC meds that have fucked with my horomones to the point where for the longest time it was hard as hell to get horny and wet, let alone orgasm.     I'm late on this one. I don't get faking it for any of the reasons any of you mentioned. They all seem like bull shit to me. Why don't you just tell dude to get it right or stop?
