    I remember growing up my grandmother had boxes of Ebony and Jet magazines and would not throw them away because she thought for sure that they were going to be worth money one day… I felt like her when I was scrambling around trying to get every newspaper will his beautifull face on it

    This was definitely an extraordinary day for me….I paced the floor until the results came in…and then I broke down in tears…! In the past days, I've seen some fairly racist comments from people that were against the election of Mr. Obama (such as “The whole world is shot to hell, so on and so forth)….and so far, I've wanted to lash out at what they had to say…but I kept to myself…because I know that there will always be racial comments and slurs made because THIS black man is in office and he won over McCain. I usually keep my taunts to myself, but I have to share this one….TO THE HATERS: “ANYTHING YOU CAN DO, WE CAN DO ALSO….WE JUST DO IT BETTER!”
