A Valid Point Or Over The Top?

Posted in Politics on Oct 28, 2008

A lot of you who follow me on Twitter may remember when I asked was DC called Chocolate City. Well my co-host of The Bleach Johnson Show made this T-Shirt as an answer to the racist white guy who had the N*gger Please Shirt. I think his shirt is playing the same racial injustice that I despise but I do think it’s funny though. What do you think?

both shirts are ignorant as hell. But, i must say...this one is too funny
  • bun_ebombshell
I think it's funny but it's no different from the nigger please shirt...
  • sexyma078
oh yeah about the shirt this is like a video I saw on CNN were dude (who is actually white) has Sarah Palin hanging fom a noose I think that it is in very poor taste especially when then people that are "afraid" to vote for Obama in their sick poor heads think we will all become black supremist!!
  • VIChick
It's basically fighting ignorance with ignorance, but it is a funny shirt.
  • The original shirt was MEANT to be inflammatory. The only way to rise against such stupidity is to NOT play into it as there's no point in fighting ignorance with ignorance. (Word to BIB)

We should be better than the original shirt wearer. This shirt is NOT "better" than. It goes right along the same lines which helps either argument HOW?!?!?!!!!
  • I just did a post about how we shouldn't think with emotions when people allow ignorance to reign over intelligence.
    But, this is an...amusing shirt.
Both wearers got what they wanted. shrug.
  • DC_REALEST
ignorance has no color....(climbing down off high horse) but yeah it is funny. i wouldn't wear it though.

and hell yeah DC is Chocolate City....ALL DAY!!
  • shayna
    funny, but ignorant.
i think that we as a people should just stick to positive & simple compaigning.
like its not a joke, and we are so close.
&& its sad that some people are not even going to vote Obama; even though they like his platform; because he's black.
  • I don't even think it's funny. It's distasteful.
  • marshall
i don't see the shirt as being ingonorant . but i do fill a person has a wright to fight fire with fire some people should be open to one exspressing there own beliefs .the main thing is to rember that god made us all equal but diffrent in so many way's.
  • pcfnw!!
both sides are wrong and uneducated this is why some will never come out of the gutter but only from there own accord.
  • hottnikz
I would never wear the shirt as it stands, maybe if they left off the "Cracker please" part. Two wrongs don't make a right, but maybe your co-host feels he is even now.
  • Breezy
yes..two wrongs do not make a right. and if it were the other way around ( that dude wearing the N*gger Please shirt), we would be hot. Eventually, someone is going to have to grow up and learn to ignore the ignorance of others. The country would be much better off if we didnt do evil for evil.
none the less, the shirt is funny because right around the corner from the White House is the damn hood..

' WE CAN REALLY SHOW OUR COLOR SOMETIMES '
  • tony
As ignorant as the other shirt....so the point is lost. Funny to say...dumb to wear.
  • willis pullen 3rd
Its called CHOC CITY because of all the BLAK FOLKS there.

Lovin the shirt , Blakman also designed the WHITE HOUSE, soon to be painted BLAK.
  • Lady Kiki
I think that this shirt is off the chain. I love the message and what it says. Now every time somebody ask that question. This shirt should be the answer.
  • Khalil shakeel
It's funny but not necessary. We shall allow ignorant folks from the other side (not all whites, only the ignorant ones) of the tracks to continue to show how ignorant they are. We will get the last laugh come November 4th.
  • Why do they call DC "Chocolate City"? I never knew why...
  • hottnikz
ummm, because the majority of the people who live there are black.
  • sexyma078
I live in DC and really dont know why its called chocolate city Ilike to think it's because of all us sexy ladies walking around here...but i do know back in the day DC meant Dodge city and that my friends is self explanatory!!
