Tonight’s town hall style debate is going to be one of the most important debate of our time. I’ll be live blogging the debate. I hope you join me keep checking back for details and updates of my thoughts on the debate.

    McCain is only delaying budget issues with proposing spending freezes. They do nothing but delay the inevitable. He completely avoided what he would do with earmark spending.

    Ok so you will give me a $5000 tax credit which i presume i can put towards my $12,000 medical bills and insurance? thanks but no thanks.
    I side with Obama on this one. My Grandmother died of cancer at 56 and it's becuase she wasn't diagnosed until she was 55 and to compound that she had uterine cancer from an IUD installed 30 years prior to that (was still in there) It never ceases to amaze me when I talk to people from other countries and they are shocked when I speak about health care or maternity leave. For a country like this, we really should be doing better.

    You are right! Sorry about your Grandmother! For us to be AMERICA we should definitely be doing better. My uncle from Paris was telling me about their healthcare, even its better than ours. I just think that America is becoming even more (if its possible) haves vs. the have nots. I am seeing ppl that have NEVER struggled complain about making ends meet. It doesn't seem right at all.

    I still as well don't understand why we being one of the richest countries still charges for health care. It is not like it isn't possible. It is about big business. People are not a value to the USA. It is about the dollar bill, which is steadily declining in value.

    McCain made empty points, some which didn't answer the question whatsoever. I feel his presence last night was one of arrogance, and was just a reason to talk about all the friends he has in high places. I cannot believe for one minute that he discusses all these country issues with his friends. Is that who he is going to go to, to get advice if he was president… his friends? What about national security… and why aren't those friends running for president if they are so damn smart that you can quote them so much during your campaign?

    Obama, was calm, sure, and willing to go to bat with McCain. Only thing was, was McCain stated things about him that werent founded, and tried to pass it off as fact. In the end Obama did try to rebute the statements McCain made, but wasnt able to really finish his thought without the time being injected by the moderator.

    McCain is not the best thing for this country right now… But just because he is Republican, Republicans will vote for him. Sad to say people still don't vote according to who is best for the job, but rather which party you are for.
