I love Rihanna's style, and she is very pretty. In my opinion she is the best looking and dressed female in the R&B game right now.

I think Aaliyah was better and she sang a little better than RiRi. But RiRi style is amazing to me

On the style issue....the celebrity's personal style does not matter because they are dressed by stylist. Just like when Sarah Jessica Parker got her own clothing line, because she is considered a style maverick, but stylist choose her clothing. As a result, the clothing line is nothing like her style/image. Most celebrities don't even dress the same when they are just leisurely out and about.

The only "celebrity" that I would say is always styling, even when going to the gym, and it is her own personaal style, is Kim Kardashian. She has a TRUE sense of style because she was a stylist for a while.

first of all, rhi rhi CANNOT sing. she is just insanely beautiful, like Halle berry. thats who you should compare her to. (short hair, light skin) aaliyah could sing and was very beautiful. rip.

I think Aaliyah was definitely better looking than Rihanna and most of the chicks in the game right now.

Rihanna's stylist should get a huge raise. I absolutely love the way rihanna looks in her clothing (not too big on her face)

that being said, should rihanna come out with a clothing line, I probably wouldn't wear it, should her stylist come out with a clothing line then my amex is waiting.

I don't know, I just think she looks better. and like i said it's not a diss at all its just to say that we all can agree Aaliyah is the standard for beauty. But I think overall Rihanna is better. Just my humble opinion. And I do think that her stylist should get all of Rihanna's money.

I've had this conversation with a couple of my male friends (it's been ongoing for about a week now) and I think we're coming to some sort of resolution... Rihanna is sexier than Aaliyah and as a female (not speaking for all females, just me) don't see sexy, I just see pretty. I'll be sure to point them in teh direction of this blog

you know what I'll agree with you there. Aaliyah might have Rihanna by a small margin face wise. But Rihanna has her in terms of body and sexiness. So I'll give you that, one. You're 100% right.

My prob with a Rhianna clothing line is that her clothes look good on HER. Not everything is for everyone. I think that how she dresses expresses her personality, her edge. Not every body could pull of her look. This could very well be a fashion disaster. For instance there are a lot of beautiful women who are beautiful in their own right, but couldn't rock what Rhi Rhi wears. (When she tried to be Beyonce it didn't work for her. Right?)To me the fashion police should issue licenses (just like driving) My pet peeve, for instance, bikinis. Just b/c they are in ur size doesn't mean u should wear them. Therefore you should have a 2nd opinion before you hit the beach. Rhi Rhi's fashion being released in masses could cause the fashion Police to issue a MASS amt. of violations.

Ummm I think you gotta be careful on this one because depending one's definition of "beauty", she's either really pretty, or really ugly. Now to me, Rhianna is more of what you call "model cute". Meaning in the real world, her face is kinda messed up lol, but in the modeling world her face is FIERCE! lol

OMG why everytime something on Ciara, Rihanna, or Cassie's music or fashion sense comes up it's always compared to Aaliyah's?!?! I don't get it it's getting old. Aaliyah WAS BEFORE CIARA, RIHANNA, AND CASSIE. She wasn't a Patti Labelle, Whitney Houston, or Aretha Franklin but she had good vocal range and a fashion sense that was R&B and Hip Hop inspired. You can't compare what Rihanna's music is, or fashion sense has come up to par in to that of Aaliyah's. Not saying Aaliyah was better than Rihanna or anyone, but she was quite beautiful. Very unique, classy, and she didn't have to use her body in order to sell records. Rihanna has done that. The only reason in my opinion that people are in such an uproar over Rihanna's beauty is because she's from the Islands. Had she of been from New York or somewhere like that, the limelight wouldn't even be that serious on her. People make too much of a big deal over Rihanna, she's just an ordinary R&B/Rock/Goth type of singer, who yes is beautiful and sexy [no homo] has a good sense of style, and has done good on the music charts. But NO to think she's more beautiful than someone just because of fashion sense is quite laughable i have to say. I'm being serious, I have seen WAY MORE BEAUTIFUL FEMALES than Rihanna. She's beautiful, but you're making her beauty sound exaggerated. Aaliyah WAS gorgeous, Rihanna IS gorgeous you get what i'm saying? Aaliyah was her own woman, and Rihanna is her own woman she's not beyond beautiful in my eyes. I think people are in such "awe" of her because she's from Barbados. If she was from Oakland like Keyshia Cole no one would even be this stuck on her.
