Solange is a Real Woman

I hate cookie cutter interviews with the interviewer asking the celeb the same basic questions you can find the answer for in the artist’s bio. The more I hear/read the thoughts of Solange the more I like her and the more I want to know about her. In a recent interview she started to speak on her life.
You’ve already been married, divorced and become a mother, do you think those experiences have helped or hurt you?
It helps. People expect women… to be very prim and proper and this sort of model. The artists with the best albums have been inspired by situations of pain and growth. I’ve definitely been through a lot in the past few years, so I’m very proud to say that I’ve matured. A marriage, a divorce and having a baby will do that to you.
Solange is a woman and for as strong as a man maybe they will never ever be as strong as a woman. A woman has to maintain her composure in the toughest of situations like Elizabeth Edwards dealing with cancer and a cheating narsasitic husband. Divorce and life are a like oil and water being forced together to become one weird liquid. It’s just not right.

She definitely seems different from her sister.
She’s cool. Even after a long day and night she looked bright eyed and bushy tailed on her way out of H20. I look forward to the new album!
