“My whole city underwater some people still floating and they wonder why black people still voting” ~ Lil Wayne From Tie My Hands Feat Robin Thicke
You know you’re on top when you start getting beef for no reason as in why Max B now wants to diss Wayne & Juelz Santana. I know a lot of people are a bit upset with his MLK comments:
“Listen. Darling, I don’t care what nobody think. Talk to me like you talking to Martin Luther King or Malcolm X. You’re not about to ask him about what he think about what somebody said about him. You ‘bout to ask him about his greatness, and his greatness only. [as swiped from C&D]
I mean sure Wayne took a page out of Kanye’s Thank you & You’re Welcome but still. The dude is winning and despite everyone telling him he’s doing something wrong he continues to win. The man stepped his rap game up from Wobbly Wobbly to Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. His flow is unmatched and why he might not be the greatest lyricist out it’s him and his martian flow which has everyone trying to top his performance on the A Milli beat.
Which I think it’s clear that if it wasn’t for Wayne’s flow wouldn’t have been hot with anyone else on it. Jay-Z included. Wayne’s been in and out the bank, while these asshole niggers been on the same S H I T. Just give the man his props.
