Walk With Me - Do You Really Want The Love Of Your Dreams
Poet Oscar Wilde once said, “In this world there are only two tragedies. One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it. The last is much the worst; the last is a real tragedy!” I find that if you treat a woman like crap, they’ll love you. If you love them and give them your heart they’ll drag you. Drag you worst than James Byrd, drag you like Eric Benet did, Halle, or like Robyn Givens did Iron Mike.
Fact is most people don’t know they want, they take signs of affection as being smothered, take being ignored as a reason to want to get closer. Fights ensue, problems develop, life seems to have placed a dark cloud over your head.
MizRepresent from Write for Life ask “Michelle Obama, Coretta Scott King” or “Melyssa Ford, Karrine Stephens??? …what do you really want? Or do you know?”
Well I come to the conclusion of what my own superwoman would be, she would be smart like Michelle Obama, and able to make her own successful living with out me. She would be strong, confident individual who can hold her own in any arena. She would be soft and elegant like Coretta Scott, and able to withstand all the trials and tribulations I go through, and remain a beautiful lady like Mrs. King. She would be a looker like Melyssa Ford, and possess a body to die for, and be a down right freak [behind closed doors] like Karrine and just willing to suck the skin off of me for hours at a time b/c she knows I’m nasty like that.
But through it all I would ask her to walk with me. I would ask her to stand by my side when I’m not feeling secure enough to be her king. B/c I’m not no super man, I’m not the kind of man that you can let down and think that everything is okay, girl I am only Human. I need more than occasional offers of nice gesture as a token of love…
I want a superwoman who will come fly with me through life and be everything I ever need and more. Because real talk I’m rational and you don’t have to be superwoman to be my girl.

So beautiful! Sometimes women get it twisted that if they have good sex or good looks then that is what makes the man stays. But it’s also about what you can bring to the table mentally as well.
Personally, I would love for a man to challenge me mentally. And there is also nothing wrong with a man wanting to uplift a woman as well as himself.

First of all, i am so honored that you would give my post a shoutout! It seems that alot of men are thinking like you, they want the combo plate, something i believe that will be difficult to find and yet still exists, give or take a few qualities. I guess most of all we should desire that woman or man who can stand by us, challenge us and help us to grow into that being we are meant to be, that his afterall the theory behind the superwoman! Just don’t get too caught up in looks alone, and you may one day find her. Great post!
