Ice-T To Make Iceberg Slim - Pimp Into a Movie
Wooohah gave my the biggest smile of the morning. I actually grabbed my little cousin and did the dance of joy from Perfect Strangers. Why You might ask? Well Ice-T is set to make a movie out of the life of Iceberg Slim author of The Pimp which basically raised me. Now my admiration for Ice-T used to be a big as frog nipples but now I think I like him about the size of a quarter.
I just hope Ice-T does a good job and not ruin this classic like DMX did Never Die Alone. Pimp, “tells the bitter truth about the pimp life during the 40’s and 50’s in the Black concrete reservation called Harlem. It shows the candid realities of the ghetto life and about the struggles of a man, frustrated with the setbacks and oppressions of a predominately white society and despairingly turns to pimping and drug pushing as a way out.”
