Nas – Ni&ga Please!!! Maxim Fake Review

Apparently the good folks over at Maxim mag have been writing up fake reviews on albums and didn’t spare the new album from Nas entitled Nigger which hits store on 04-22-08. Before even hearing the finished version they gave it a low 2.5. It made me think of the Takeover when Jigga N!gga Ten Pound Lip N!gga says: One was – NAHHH, the other was “Illmatic”/ That’s a one hot album every ten year average. Here is what Nas said about the review
“I’d prefer [a review from] Playboy. That kind of stuff doesn’t reach my radar or effect anybody around me. I don’t know what a music rating from Maxim is . . . I don’t know what it even means really.”
My question is why is Maxim rating his album? Just doesn’t make sense to me. But I can white kids all over America saying. What you listening to, Nigger???
