Obama Time – Barack Walks All Over Clinton

Last night Obama won the Potomac Primaries by a substantial margin, Another word for trounced, over Hillary Clinton. The message of hope is spreading, and I’m getting a bit giddy with the fact that my daughters and myself may get to see a black president in our lifetime.

Now, I hope Blacks, and politicians alike, take this time to see how important the black vote is if anyone running for office. Because it is the black vote, that’s pushing Barack over the top, with the two candidates pretty much splitting the white vote. I would like to see candidate come into the prodominetly black sections of neighborhoods, across America.

The Urban areas, that this blog caters to, the Cabrini Green’s of Chicago, the Chancellor and Bergen’s of Newark, NJ, the Bankhead’s of ATL, The Marcy Projects of Brooklyn, to the Watts & Crenshaw’s of Cali. The part of America, that doesn’t get to eat American Pie, but receives more than their share of humble pie. Ignored for decades, so now it’s time to fix things in our neck of the woods.

And as MSNBC so wonderfully put it, “Memo to Hillary Rodham Clinton: Barack Obama is stealing your faithful.” Don’t your faithful will continue to be taken care of, but Obama’s faithful, need to be taken care after he is gone from office, once the next presidential campaign comes around. I surely hope that politicians across this great country open their eyes to see how important the black vote is to any campaign. And FYI we don’t just vote for the black guy, we didn’t flock to Rev. Sharpton as I noticed last night on MSNBC’s coverage of the election when Chris Matthews said. ‘You look a little mad.” So in the words of the great Snoop Dogg “You Betta Recognize”
