Friendship, Trust & Truth
Kelly was over in the UK dishing the dirt on her Destiny Child’s Sisters saying:
“They’re both slobs,” … “We would get on a tour bus and they’d flick off their shoes. And I’d be like, ‘No! That’s the corner for shoes!’…. I’m a neat freak.” Source
It’s funny how the things your friends do effect you, they’ll throw you under the bus betraying the trust the two of you share. While reading the gossip above the following thoughts came to mind.
The motto of The Great Debaters, Who is the Judge? The Judge is God! Why is He God? Because He decides who wins or loses not my opponents!
Who is your opponent? My Opponent doesn’t exist! Why doesn’t he exist? Because he is a mere dissenting voice to the TRUTH I speak!
Wikipedia defines Friendship as term used to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more humans. I couldn’t agree more. Myself I would die, for a person I call my friend, starve for a person I call my friend, even end a friendship for a person I call my friend. I’m quick to stand up for a friend even if that friend doesn’t want anyone standing up for them. Sometimes I can be a bit reckless in my defense and not think out an attack carefully. Sometimes I can end the whole situation with a click of a mouse, a tap of the keyboard or a quote from a wise human being. But I’m not perfect, I make mistakes as we all do.
But I live by the bible, when Jesus said The Truth Shall Set you free. You see, not a person on this earth can defeat the truth. I’ve been falsely accused of doing things I could not have possibly done. Convicted guilty, with out a trial, or even a desire to hear my side of the story. I reached out to the victim to find out what happened, but their mind already made up. There was nothing I can do accept speak the truth and let it do what it do.
Lies don’t make sense, Lies are a person way of altering reality I liken a lie to being worst than murder. Because you alter someone’s mind, cloud their reality, and basically take it upon yourself to alter who they are. The scary part about that is, how do you know if something you believe in with all your heart is true or not. What if the lady I call my mother was not my real mother? Let that marinate in your mind, think about that for a minute or two.
Friends effect you, they come into your heart and start to redecorate your love. They become important to you, some more important than the oxygen you need to survive. You share your inner most secrets with them, the things that haunt your consciousness, the things you’re not very proud of but have done. You trust these people will play a valuable part of your life. You trust they know your intentions, your motives and exactly where your heart resides. You hope they don’t walk away with your heart in their possession, leaving you alone never to get that section of your heart back again.
