Love Is For Suckers

We all know heartbreak can be a hard thing to deal with. I mean seriously you can get jumped by 5 people and get better in a week, but if you get your heartbroken you’ll be on the floor 3 months from now like “I just want to die”

Someone once told me that ‘pain is good for you, b/c it lets you know that you’re still alive’ but honestly who wants to be at work w/ the screw face stressed the hell out, bursting into tears everything something reminds you of your lost love? Thinking to yourself how you are going to get over it.

You lost focus, stop talking to your friends, forgetting to shower, and thinking of evil ways to getting that person back for breaking your heart. I’m talking about everything from Keying their car to hiring a hit man to snipe them as they stroll down the street whistling like they are on top of the world. I had this girlfriend I was dealing w/ and she had a boyfriend 2 days later… and swore up and down that she wasn’t cheating on me… I felt like she ripped my heart out and used it as a mouse pad.

So how do you deal with it? Simple get over it, cut yourself some slack, no need to bottle up those feelings of sadness, b/c without sadness you’ll never be able to enjoy those happy feelings you feel when you munch into those crack filled M&Ms you haven’t had in years. If you deal with your feelings, you’ll get over it a lot quicker than if you try to shut them out. My home girl from back home told me a useful technique is to allow yourself half an hour or an hour every day to think about what has happened and let the bad feelings out. Just like in AA the first step to healing is admitting you have a problem. So before you go sleeping w/ both of your ex’s best friend to pay that jerk back in the middle of losing all of your morals lets put our minds together and come up w/ some more ways to get over losing a love.
