Ah Estelle and Wyclef… Now don’t get me wrong, Estelle is my peoples, she USED to read my blogs back in the day but is it me or does her knees look a tad bit ashy in that picture? Anyway it reminds me of a date from hell I once had, and I’m not talking bout the horrid BET show either.

I went to pick up the girl I meet at the bar the week before, she came out looking amazing, her leather jacket matched everything she had on. She got in the car and we did the whole car hug thing, and proceeded to go to the restaurant.

We get our table, she takes off her coat, and sits down, I sit down, look at the menu to figure out what I want for dinner… the conversation continues. I look at her nails freshly done, and she moves her hands up to her face to brush her hair away from her eyes and I see it… She has ashy elbows.

The waiter comes back to take our order, he reaches down to grab the menu and he sees them. The ashiest elbows in the history of mankind. Flakes are falling on to the table. I damn near burst out into full blown laughter but catch myself and play it off as a commercial on the flat screen monitor.

I continued the date, as she told me all sorts of weird quirks about herself including her disbelief in lotion. Needless to say, I walked out of the restaurant quick my head down so no one would see me with the ash clown.
