There is a certain way a MAN should approach a lady. Some call it confidence, others call it swagger. One of my females friends once said I had that big dick walk when I pushed up on her. You know that walk that is telling you, you’re going to give ME the number unless he opens up his mouth and say something stupid… like I would have never graduated college if it wasn’t for my 24 inch rims.

The Push Up
You should never walk up to a lady with your head down, square up your shoulders keep your head high, stand face to face w/ the lady you are trying to make your future queen, make eye contact and keep it here. You can undress her w/ your eyeballs later, or if your good you should have already done that before you decided to walk up to her. Your approach should tell her that you are that dude, but be careful b/c you can’t be too cocky when you do this most ladies don’t like a show off.

While your walking up to her be on the lookout for the signs that she wants to be talked to, women are the masters at telling us stuff without saying a word. If any but not limited to, the following keep it moving:

Rolls her eyes

starts to make a phone call

Frowns

Looks the other way real fast

Exhales

SMCH’s

But if she smiles and maintains eye contact you have been giving a chance to make your case so don’t blow it. Make sure you tone of voice is in the right key. You don’t want to come off sounding like a porn star or a hand me down version of LL Cool J. And although having your voice crack like Urkel’s isn’t a complete killer it’s never a good look. Be yourself apply a little base in your voice, matter fact use your phone voice b/c 9 times out of ten if the lady is feeling you she is using hers. What, y’all know you all got that fact interview/Phone voice you put on. When you with your folk it’s whaddup Nicka!! But when its Job Interview time it’s Hello, how are you?

The Opening Statement
If your funny make her laugh, if your smart get her mind juices flowing. Notice your surroundings and use them to your advantage if your in a book store ask her about a book, if your in the supermarket notice what isle she is in and notice what’s in her cart, just don’t break eye contact or all is lost. Just kidding even though talking to a woman for the first time is as delicate of making those show cakes that you see on the cooking channel. The most important thing to do is to ask open ended questions it get her to talking and if you ask the right thing it can spark some great memories for her that can do nothing but help a brother out. Another important thing to do is keep up with the conversation. Sure a nice car can help but being intelligent will help build a strong foundation for the castle of love you plan to house your queen.

I mean it’s pretty much a game of paying attention so notice the sign, follow the clues and let her remain in the lead. Just b/c you’re not pulling the strings doesn’t mean you’re not in control of things. If you played your hand right she’ll be wondering when you’re going to call and already thinking about how good you are in bed.
