Folks allow me to introduce you to the lovely Ms. Brittany Bosco. A southern bell who has a powerful voice and the charm of a goddess. Intrigued? Peep my interview with this eclectic musician.
Brittany Bosco grew up in boring Savanna, GA but traveled up north to find herself. “I always knew i was different.” Her style is off the chain it has so much flavor Baskin Robbins would be jealous.
Her style is a mixture of everything from funk to jazz then to r&b over to blues & rock Matter fact just about a little of everything. “I get so inspired by all types of music so I use it to my advantage.” When you listen to Fairytale Dreams you’ll hear it. Her voice dances with the melody of the beat, as she sings of love. Her music is a breath of fresh air in a world of the mainstream artist using the same old formula to attempt to entertain you.
I’m sure you can tell by her pictures that this tenderoni is the type who stands out in a crowds. I asked her when she noticed her style for fashion was special. “I think people notice it before I did. crazy thing about it is I take most of my own pictures! crazy huh! My thing is I really dont like to match I’m more of a blender, i love crazy patterns, loud colors but my favorite shade is black. Being a fashion design major helps me a lot create my own individual style, and people seem to love it.”
Xilla – Do you consider your self more of a sex symbol or a role model?
Brittany – Definitely a role model, because i don’t really consider myself to be sexy, I’m funky, yes i do dress up every now and then but i’ll take a pair of sneaks or sbs ANYDAY, and i would wear it with a dress, but hey, thats just me…..
i love helping and giving to other people so sex symbol wouldnt be me unless they think my style or body type is sexy.
Many Men Do I’m sure. But, you seem like you have a tight knit group of friends, What are some of the things you all have been though that has made you so close?
Crazy, but i really don’t have a lot of close friends. people have back stabbed me so much its hard for me to trust, i have a bout 5 good friends. i keep my circle of friends really limited because of jealousy, people wanting to know you because of who you are, i want people to love me for me which is SILLY LOVING CARING AND LIVING LIFE ON THE EDGE BEING SPONTANEOUS. Things that has brought us closer is MUSIC and we definitely have a lot in common most of my friends that i have now know the things i have been through with other people so i value the view friends i have now which are Patrice, Tiffany, Ebonee, Jamilia, Imani, Craig. I have a circle of music friends im very close with which are Lloyd, lizzy,goose, danny, shawn, adam, awol fam, and they know who they are. I have different levels of friends…so thats it
Do you have groupies?
groupies…naw…fans…YES! its hard to have males groupies because they dont wanna show they weak side…. but most of my friends are my fans, but my crowd is growing daily….hopefully in the near couple of months i will be on mtv or something im working very hard to make my dream come true on a daily basis….i work hard i grind hard…when i say ima do something im gonna do it im very determine…

I see me on a stage singing my heart out and the crowd loving it im giving to them and they giving to me…with the band being on point( BECAUSE I LOVE PROFESSIONAL AND SKILLFUL MUSICIANS) and giving a sold out show across seas.

What is your ultimate goal?
my ultimate goal is a change the lives of others through music and make a change in young ladies lives. i wanna be in the music hall of fame for my accomplishments, to be a multi-platinum artist, to own my clothing line because i am a fashion design major student, to take care of my friends and family….but most of all if this never happens i really want to family i can call my own, to get married and love my husband.
