Mobb Deep – Shook Ones Stay Talking

Posted in Entertainment, Music, Xilla Post on Jan 03, 2008

“He’s always gonna be Gay-Z no matter what. We could do business or even if he wants a beat from Havoc, that nigg*’s still Gay-Z to me. We seen each other in Justin’s [right after the infamous 2001 Summer Jam, where the Jay/Mobb Deep/Nas beef took off]. I was with a whole bunch of my nigg*s. It was just him and like one or two security guards. Soon as he seen me, he just walked straight up to me with his hand out like, “Yo, it’s all love. It ain’t beef. It’s just rap.” I’m like, “Yeah, aright whatever.” He seen how I could of did him. We Mobb Deep. It’s not a game. It’s for real, son. Source

I often wonder why people just don’t let stuff go, but it’s dudes like him which is the reason why Hip Hop from NY is damn near DEAD!!!.

Ask almost any female, and they’ll tell you I don’t really listen to hip hop that much, mainly b/c the dudes who rap these days are cornballs. ‘Yo son, we from the hood we mobb deep!! I keeps it real!!’. Umm dude if keeping it real is some damn near 40 year old talking like he’s 14 then I want to be fake.

I’m sick of the drama, the violence and the unnecessary aggression. You’re out the hood or at least should be. What’s the point of making millions or hundreds of thousand of bucks to blow it on, drugs, money and clothes, instead of, Houses, businesses, and stock. It’s called Investments.

Why stay in a lifestyle which you can pretty much look at and see that no one in the game ever wins. All I’m saying is that we need to clean up our act and hold ourself to a higher standard.

[Sidenote] Can anyone find those summer jam picture of this dude taking dance lessons?
